The hotel is small, but very comfortable. Breakfast could be served at the hotel itself, or in another hotel with a beautiful view: Hotel Astria. We loved the view and the terrace there so, so much.
Personally, I found the room lovely, but it was right next to the reception. Our room door also had quite an opening under it, so no airtightness, so to speak. I found it very hard to relax 100%, because of that. I had the impression everybody could hear us all the time. I was aware of every noise on the hall.

My room was right at the desk and on my last nigh I had to ask the recepcionist who was talking to some people to be quiet, because I couldn't sleep.
The property was clean, the staff were welcoming, and the breakfast was great. They did a fantastic job. The rooms were cleaned regularly. Would I stay again if visiting Istanbul? Absolutely. The location is next to Sulaymaniyah Masjid, Egyptian bazaar, Mahmut pasa bazaar, grand bazaar and the Eminonu Pier. Thank you all for the hospitality.

Owner was very helpful
1. Upon arrival, the receptionist informed us that we were fortunate to be staying in a luxury room. However, the room’s condition did not align with what one would expect of such a standard. This raises concerns about the quality of your standard rooms.
2. The room lacked a kettle, which I requested. I was informed that it would only be available the following day, but even then, it was not provided. Additionally, tea-making items were only available at reception, which is inconvenient for guests expecting in-room amenities.
3. There was a significant issue with the air conditioning unit in the room. It had a leak, and I was awakened at 6:00 a.m. due to water dripping onto my face, which caused considerable discomfort.
Staff SUPERIOR! Friendly, helpful, caring. The staff is the reason I would go back there. Hotel very clean. Good shower. Nice hot water.
This place was just AMAZING. It was way better than I excpected it. The location, the view from the rooftop, the breakfast, all were just fabulous. It was so warm and cozy inside, that my daughter cried when we were leaving. She loved it that much. Everything is nearby and the boys working there, especially Lokman were just so helpful. Thank you endlessly for hosting us and making this trip, a trip to remember.

The stuff, from the cleaning lady to the manager, are very ķind, problems solving persons (and believe me, there are many, considering the building condition...), ready yo offer any support you might need!!!
The room light was pretty poor and the view from my window was terrible. The window itsself was very poor, I heard the outside noise, the windy and cold air, and all above, the water infiltration (2 days out of 4, was raining, while I stayed there).
The room design is very bad, the hanging very, very high!!! No support for suitcases, the shower was working inappropriate! These are only few things which I didn't like.
Very nice, charming and authentic old style Turkish style hotel.
Hosts are incredible nice and made out stay unforgettable.
