The location is perfect, we had a wonderful harbour view. The room was large, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Classic pub facilities. Would recommend.
L'emplacement
Petit déjeuner.
Matelas pas confortable. Trop vieux.
Parquet bruyant d'un étage à l' autre .
Salle de bain dans son jus.
Location
No parking and noisy
The location was the only redeeming factor for this hotel and the member of staff in the bar under the hotel for providing ice (on a hot day)
The shower head didn’t fit properly forcing all the water out of the edge of the shower and when used at 1600 the temperature could be best described as tepid. The window in the room had a note saying broken and that you couldn’t open the bottom half, couldn’t get the top half to open. Staff did offer to move us to sister hotel but given that I’d showered already and was leaving at 0730 seemed pointless for a x1 night stay (at that point hadn’t realised the window was broken)
Most concerning thing, that when I contacted hotel management after a long delay they advised me that the plumber had said didn’t turn tap on fully. A video was sent with original email clearly showing the problem. So after implying I am incompetent if using the showers they then disengaged from communicating with me further despite x2 further emails from myself. It is not what I’d expect from the hospitality industry if they ever wanted me to frequent them again.
Location and staff were very good. Cool pub downstairs.
Small and very basic room with no aircon, very basic breakfast
Fantastic Room over looking the harbour,
Great terrace to watch the sun set
Nothing
Historic, comfortable, friendly, fantastic location
Nothing, it was all excellent
The location; The large family rooms, and the friendly staff.
Could do with air conditioning units. The room #6 was stifling hot without the ability to open the window any further.
Considering they are within reach of the sea, i expected their menu to have locally sourced produce.
Location couldn’t be better.
Nothing really, rooms are fairly basic but fine for me for a couple of nights.
Location was fantastic ,also staff were great
Room was very hot into the night
Perfect location for our Lundy trip, staff were lovely.
We were woken up by someone trying to get into our room at around 2 / 3 am. They eventually made their way into the room opposite us and continued to be incredibly noisy throughout the night until they left. We suspected this was a homeless person being accommodated, which is a wonderful thing but if they need the TV on that loud to sleep then maybe they could be accommodated somewhere not immediately next to other guests... The noise meant we didn't sleep from then onwards and wouldn't stay again. Up until then it had been just what we needed.
Bed was comfy, room was a decent size, plenty of tea tray items, room was clean and tidy stayed for the shanty festival so the location was perfect.
It was super hot, the ceiling fan didn’t create any breeze and the room ran was too small to be effective, we had to borrow a fan from our friends who were staying in an Air b&b. The curtains were hanging off at one end and the rail needs to be secured to the wall as it was pulling out from the wall.
