Will definitely return - location on the river and proximity to town but quiet ans secluded
Pros:

Wonderful staff
Welcoming friendly remembered our names and chatted every day
Extremely clean
Lovely pool area lovely gardens
Breakfast varied and fresh

Cons:

Beds very hard
Needed more than a blanket on the bed - mid October - the sheet was more like a rug
Bathroom door handle broke
Swing chair in garden collapsed when we sat on it

Cons:

Constant noisy music of same type around pool. Breakfast orange juice was disgusting. Clearly powdered not fresh.

Pros:

The Portakal is a really lovely little hotel. The staff can't do enough for you, and are extremely friendly. The breakfast is exceptional. So much choice. Very clean, and the rooms are extremely well presented. We had a mini break and loved it.

Enjoyed our few nights here, wouldnt want to stay for 2 wks due to sun bed issue being too close together.

Lovely hotel for a short break
Pros:

Hotel was so clean, staff were really friendly and attentive. Rooms had everything you needed for a short stay (no self catering facilities)

About 10-15 min walk to the centre) restaurants

Pros:

Set in a quiet location away from the main town, yet only a 5 minute walk to shops, cafes etc.

Mehmet was very welcoming and keen for us to make the most of Portakal and Dalyan - he is an asset to the complex. All the other staff were very, pleasant, too, especially those on the breakfast buffet (preparing and front of house).

Separate garden with plenty of seating.
Also just next door to the car ferry to take you to the other side of the river for the ruins and visits to Çandir etc

Cons:

I imagine the garden (seating) will be tidied up more for the main season

Pros:

Amazing staff, so helpful and happy. Very clean everywhere. Bar man was brilliant and with good sense of humour. Pool is a good size for Hotel. Breakfast is very fresh with some variety.

Pool towels to be included at start of stay.

A spotlessly clean, welcoming hotel, one of the nicer I have stayed at in Dalyan 🧿
Pros:

A beautiful hotel with friendly, welcoming staff. We had a family room, which was spacious & clean. The standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel is excellent. Breakfast was extremely good with plenty of choice. The hotel gardens & pool area are very well maintained with comfortable seating & plenty of shade if required.

Surprise visit
Pros:

Beautiful location, short walk to everything, everyone went above and beyond to make my surprise visit for a weekend to join family who were holidaying there, they were Amazing
