exceeded our expectations for Ayr.
Pros:

It was a super big room, the Carnegie suite. Large four poster bed. Had a jacuzzi bath not used. TV difficult to select channel and get radio working.

Cons:

Dinner: the steaks were good but the seafood lasagne was disappointing. Breakfast OK.

Lovely overnight stay with family
Pros:

My family really enjoyed our stay the best about it was the giant bath & showers in the Churchill suite.

Cons:

The bed was a bit uncomfortable hard mattress however the bed was massive and so was the room very spacious so that made up for it.

Best restaurant in Scotland
Pros:

The Restaurant was incredible! I’ve honestly never eaten such great food. We arrived in with zero expectations or knowledge as we were simply staying in a lovely hotel and decided we were too tired after travelling to go out anywhere, well we were pleasantly surprised. I had a beef pie, which came deconstructed. A plate of luscious beef, tender but cooked to perfection in a decadent gravy with a pastry bun sat to the edge (the size of a big pie), and a bed of beautiful mash, carrots, parsnips, and green beans. It was a meal that was well above hotel restaurant standards and I’ve stayed in many hotels. It was followed by a Black Forest Gateaux sundae (yes you read that right) and wow, just wow!!! The scoop of cherries at the bottom was a real treat. The whole meal, the experience, the staff, and may I say the breakfast the next morning, showed us that this restaurant put a lot of effort into ensuring real high quality is shown always. 100 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
