Fantastisch gelungen der Spagat zwischen alt und neu. Ruhiges und komfortables Hotel. Haben ein sehr gutes Frühstück genossen. Bushaltestelle um die Ecke. Wir haben sehr gut im Knights Bistro gegessen. Sehr nette Bedienung, tolle Atmosphäre.

Cons:

Wir waren 2 Nächte dort. Hatten mit Frühstück gebucht (19,95 € pro Person). Unser Flug ging jedoch so früh, dass wir für ein Frühstück nur bis 07.15 Uhr Zeit hatten. Frühstück gibt es aber nur ab 07.00 Uhr. Es wurde uns angeboten, auf einer Karte anzukreuzen, was wir gerne zum Frühstück hätten, dann bekämen wir um 07.00 Uhr ein Frühstück. Da sich bis 07.00 Uhr noch niemand gemeldet hatte, haben wir an der Rezeption nachgefragt. Da hatte man unsere Karte und übergab uns unser Frühstück. Eine Papiertüte mit einer Kiwi, einer Birne, einer Orange, einer Clementine (wie soll man ohne Messer an das Innere der Früchte kommen?), 2 Jogurts und vier kleinen eingeschweißten Muffins. Kaffee konnten wir uns zapfen. Ich finde das beschämend für ein Hotel dieser Klasse. Klar, mein Fehler bei der Buchung mit Frühstück gebucht zu haben, aber ich hätte auch ein Entgegenkommen erwartet. Die Mitarbeitenden an der Rezeption waren nicht unfreundlich, aber im Vergleich zu den anderen Hotels unserer Rundreise belegten sie den letzten Platz. Es war aber das teuerste Hotel unserer Reise.

Das Gebäude ist sehr beeindruckend.
Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Der Service war sehr gut und die Auswahl und die Qualität war klasse.

Cons:

Das Bad war nicht sehr sauber. Es lag u.a. noch eine Dentalbürste des Gastes vor uns unter dem Spiegel.
Es war immer ein Brummen von der Abluftanlage zu hören, so dass weder unsere Kinder noch wir in unserem sep. Zimmer wirklich gut schlafen konnten.
Das Abendessen in der Knight Bar war nicht wirklich gut. Weder die Pasta, noch der Salat und schon gar nicht mein Fisch. Ich hatte fast nur fettig frittierte Panade und vielleicht 50 g Fisch.
Der Service in der Knight Bar war dagegen gut.
