Nothing fairly basic but for the price acceptable.

wouldnt be my first choice again in Great Glen.
Pros:

The staff were nice, the food for dinner was alright.

Cons:

I couldn’t get much hot water, the bed was not very comfortable, there was no breakfast available and the wi-fi was too unreliable to use.

We stayed overnight after a wedding reception. Quiet, good kip.

The attached pub/restaurant looked good and i would have gone there in different circumstances.

Pros:

They don’t do breakfast. A small room with no chair to sit on. No towels left in the room to use. The window wouldn’t close properly and it’s at ground level. A really uncomfortable bed which is about 2 foot off the floor. The bathroom was very small and then the light went - meaning I had to use the bathroom in the dark. To top it all when I turned on the hot tap in the bathroom to wash in the morning - no water came out of the hot tap at all. Shaved in cold water. The tiny shower did have hot water though. Nightmare stay really - shame because it’s a good location in a nice village setting.

Good value, staff corrected bedding prompley
Pros:

The wake was at the hotel, so location was good, staff were professional and friendly room was clean

Cons:

No water from the hot tap in sink. No bedding in room, only sheets.

Nice place to stay with easy access from the car park and the pub/restaurant
Pros:

Easy access from my car to the rooms and the pub/restaurant. Easy to find it along the main road.

Cons:

We booked two rooms. In the both rooms, there were only one big bath towel and a small one provided. One of the showers had very low water pressure. And one of the fridge wasn't working. We left the Inn early in the morning. The restaurant was closed and no one was there us to return the key. So that we dropped the keys through the letter flap on the door which we weren't instructed at the check in.

Arrived at the hotel, checked in and paid, was taken to the room. No hot water. Rang for help numerous times, nothing was done. Then had a cold shower as had places to be, only to be barged in on by management saying we needed to leave as THEY had double booked the room. Suggested we shared a triple room with someone .. no apology, no sincerity, absolutely dreadful customer service. Dirty bedding with no bedding covers on, only one towel provided despite being two of us.. The mini fridge stunk of gone off milk / cheese, Would not recommend to anyone… £80 down the drain!

My go to place to stay in south Leicestershire
Pros:

Lovely village pub location, but the rooms are in a different building so you don’t really hear the pub. Good food in the restaurant, and the rooms are cosy and I love that they have a fridge in them too!

Cons:

Curtains were left open before my arrival on a very hot day, and the blanket had been put on top of the fridge so that was working hard to work which meant it was kicking out a lot of extra heat.

Silenzio.

Cons:

L'appartamento piccolo, spazi stretti. Vasca da bagno in camera da letto non utile. Mobilio datato. Causa posizione dell'appartamento all'ultimo piano, il caldo in camera si è fatto sentire durante la notte.

One of the most stunning villages I’ve ever been to. Well worth the money, great food, great staff.
Pros:

The pub itself is so nice! All the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was so good! Massive carpark. My car was parked right outside my room which was handy! The room had a fridge as well which was perfect for me as I travel a lot with my meals pre prepped.

Cons:

Mmm I couldn’t find a hairdryer in the room but that wasn’t a major thing and possibly the shower could have been a bit bigger/better. But again, it was hot and did the job so again can’t complain.
