The bed
Staff don't seem that interested in you, my breakfast was cold and no plugs next to or near the bed, I'm 2026 that seems a bit silly
Near to the airport , the receptionist was welcoming and gave clear helpful instructions.
Rooms were very basic, road outside is noisy, food was poor, cleanliness was below average, noise form the main road. No lift to the rooms.
The location was fine
The staff wasn't warm welcoming as stated in previous reviews, we was turned away because we was an hour early and bascially told to go away and come back at 2.30pm when check in was at 2pm the rooms had a dirty musty smell and kids didnt feel well the next day when woke up, the side of the sink and toilet was stained. The springs in the mattress digged in you so you then woke up with a bad back, the breakfast wasn't worth the money and the cutlery and bowls had marks on them. We have been to better hotels which have better value for money and comfortable and they have been half the price.

The twin room was clean but the mattresses on the beds were very soft and uncomfortable. Ok though for one night.

The carpet was badly stained. The sink plug was missing and there was a gapping hole . Could have asked for another room but it was a quick over night pit stop
The staff in the bar were absolutely lovely. So friendly could not fault them. The food was also very nice at dinner time. Location good. Close to Barry which is where we were heading.
The room was very dated and quite dirty ( stains on walls, doors , skirtings rotten, silverfish in the bathroom) the shelf fell down in the bathroom when things placed on it. Carpets burnt and stained. Beds stained. Loud banging until late and then from 3am ( i think we were above the kitchen) beds super uncomfortable. Only 2 plug sockets in a family room and one was for the TV. Curtains dont fit. I suppose you get what you pay for and it was cheap
Lovely hotel, great location for the airport. The staff were very friendly.
The only downside would be that there wasn't a lift so we had to carry heavy cases up the stairs but it wasn't a big problem
