Aurum Dunes Luxury Camp

Esta viagem ao Saara foi uma experiência incrível. Primeiro, os camelos esperavam-nos e levaram-nos até ao acampamento. Todo o percurso foi organizado com muita segurança. Quando chegámos ao acampamento, foi simplesmente impressionante. Nem queria acreditar que um acampamento assim existisse em pleno Saara. As tendas tinham casa de banho, camas confortáveis ​​e tomadas. Tudo estava limpo e lindamente decorado. Havia muita comida e estava deliciosa. À noite, fizemos uma fogueira, dançámos e ouvimos música ao vivo. Além disso, a minha tia celebrou o seu 60º aniversário nessa noite e, durante a fogueira, trouxeram-lhe um bolo enquanto cantavam os parabéns. Obrigada por estas memórias maravilhosas. !Beautiful desert camp with great tents that offer - as the name of the camp suggests - a view into the starlit sky at night. Absolutely breathtaking. The beds were the most comfortable we had in our entire Morocco trip and you have your own bathroom in the tent. The camp’s owner Hassan is a fun guy and can help you organising various activities, such as a camel ride or a quad ride. Pick-up from the gas station where you park your own car before continuing with a 4x4 was free of charge. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Overall, a great experience.

The breakfast was delicious also the view of the sunrise was perfect we did enjoy every second at camp the was more than perfect also quad bikes we tried driving quad bikes on the big dunes the best thing ever also a visit to the nomads family with the driver Hamad he thought us a lot of things and new ideas about nomad's life style everything was perfect thank you everyone.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Merzouga with my sister and friend, and we stayed at the Aurum dunes. It was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish.
The hospitality was exceptional ,, a special thank you to Ismail and Mohamed, for their warm welcome and kindness. The tents were spotlessly clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the food was delicious and perfectly prepared. Every detail was taken care of with care and professionalism.
The activities we did were also unforgettable, and everything was perfectly organized. We genuinely enjoyed every moment of our stay. Thank you again for making our time in the desert so memorable. I’ll definitely be coming back someday!

Really unique, memorable experience at AURUM DUNES. Highly recommend for those looking for a more intimate quiet camp with nice tents. Stunning large beautiful tents where you can see the stars, have nice view at night, comfy bed, bathrobes, nice hot shower. Kind staff that will organize tours for you. Excellent tajin dinners and had lunch one day at the camp which was delicious. Mohamad was very responsive over WhatsApp also quad bikes for sunrise the best thing.
Loved the camp cats!! We had a great time and would highly recommend.

This camp was amazing, further away from the congestion of the other camps in the area and very peaceful. Muhammad, Ali, and Abdul were excellent hosts and amazing with our children. We felt very welcome and this camp was one of the highlights of our long trip in Morocco, because of all the people working there. I would also highly recommend the trip to the local village and town.

We were amazed.
Tents was luxorious. Beds, like in 5 star hotel.
Location was perfect, near the big dunes, from where You can see whole desert, so You can easly go on sunrise and Sunset.
Food, one of the Best we ate in Marocco.
Evening music, drums and fire, also was a great experience.

My recent stay at AURUM dunes luxury camp in Merzouga was an absolute delight. From the moment I arrived, I was immersed in the magic of the Sahara Desert, surrounded by breathtaking sand dunes and a sense of tranquility. The camp itself was beautifully designed, blending traditional Moroccan elements with modern comforts. My tent was spacious.
However, what truly elevated my experience was the exceptional hospitality and the magnificent dining experience. The staff at Aurum dunes were incredibly warm and attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure my comfort and enjoyment.
Overall, my stay at Aurum dunes was an unforgettable experience. The combination of exceptional service, and the exquisite dining experience made it a truly special retreat. I highly recommend this camp to anyone seeking an authentic desert adventure.

Amazing experience. We camel trekked for around 1.5 hrs to get there and were met with a lovely mint tea and snacks. The tent was gorgeous and big enough for our family of four. We were lucky enough to get a tent right on the edge of the property so stargazing was spectacular and we had a ten second walk to watch the sunrise! The campfire and dancing was so much fun.

A truly unique experience! We spent a night at the camp and everything was perfect to make it a special moment. The food was delicious (dinner was excellent) and the welcome was fantastic. Sleeping under the stars of Erg Chebbi is a memory we will cherish for a long time. Thank you for this incredible experience!

The camel ride took 1.5 hours from Merzouga to the sunset point where we stopped for 45 minutes to see the beautiful sunset in the desert. 1.5 hours is hard on a camel and you should be in a good condition to do it. After the sunset we were taken to our tent which had no aircon. So, we had no heating from there. There was some heating from a device but the room stayed very cold for the night. (December 2025). The dinner was excellent and the breakfast was okay. There was no heating in the dining room. To go back to Merzouga we used the 4x4 car of the camp. It was very nice to ride over the dunes. For a better desert ecxperience you should visit the Sahara in April or May. December and January are too cold

Fantastic camp. Very easy to arrange with hosts over WhatsApp. Camel ride was brilliant - it was just the two us and a guide, so felt very special. We got to watch both sunrise and sunset over the dunes. Lovely food and the fire and music were wonderful. The tent was very well equipped with a comfy bed. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to book a desert camp

Excellent stay. Good food even for vegetarian. Exceptional service . Will recommend tourist to visit this place to experience morrcan safari. We did desert safari in various Middle East countries but this was best due to this luxury camp management . All the best

Absolutely wonderful experience! The location is very nice, the camp is clean and very well taken care of, and the hosts are a nice family that really put effort into their clients.
My partner and I arrived very late (after 10pm) from a long drive from Marrakech, and we asked if we could possibly eat. They prepared us a 4 course delicious dinner! We went on a sunset camel ride which was just magical. In the evening the hosts brought out instruments, made a fire and sang Maroccan music to us, and after gave the instruments to all the guests so we could sing as well. It was wonderful. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, fresh eggs in their traditional tagine every day.
The only thing is you have to wait around 15 min for warm water to flow in the shower, which is doable if you just prepare for that in advance. Other than that perfect!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was very attentive and met all our needs. We were welcomed upon arrival and showed our accommodations. Our tent was comfortable and included a full bathroom. Breakfast was buffet style, and we were completely satisfied. Dinner was an enjoyable experience with live music and a bonfire provided later in the evening.

We really liked the camp: stylish interior, clean rooms, good water pressure in the shower and hot water. The tent has beautiful view, which was very nice after the desert camel raide. The Wi-Fi is excellent. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. It was my husband's birthday, and the staff congratulated him with a cake, which was a very nice touch. The staff is very friendly and attentive.

Won’t say too much except this is truly a luxurious camp in the middle of the desert. I was in shock and amazed. Amazing private rooms, washrooms with running hot water, bathrobes and all provided as well. The hosts were very nice and played Berber music for us at the campfire. Food was good too. Sand dunes around the camp were perfect size to climb at night and during sunrise.

Just note that an electrical socket/plug is only available in main hall, rooms only have USB type A sockets.

Overall, I would highly recommend you pick this if you want to go to Merzouga desert.
