Pros:

直前の予約だったかが朝食対応して頂けてとても助かった。

Cons:

コモンルームがあるとよかった。
予約時は夕食を外で食べる予定だったが、急に食事会がなくなり、食事を持ち込みにした。
部屋にテーブルがなかったためコモンルームがあったら、食べ物を置く範囲を気にせずに食事ができたなと思った。
それ以外はとても満足のいく滞在だった。

Great dinner
Pros:

We visited in Golden Week, not the ski season.
The room was surface clean but ‘tired’ the bed was comfortable, the room was small. We had a bathroom, it was the standard all in one, the bath was Japanese style, deep but short, as expected.

The dinner was amazing, the food was great. Beautifully cooked and presented. That said, we’d have liked to have had a smaller meal the second night. But we were only given the choice of the set course.

The owner was friendly but he did seem to be running the whole place by himself, we didn’t see any other staff - maybe this is why the menu was limited?

There is coffee and tea available in the dining room. Some guests used the hot water to make instant ramen.

Do take note of what is provided - no towels but you can rent them for a fee. No toothbrush or soap but there was shampoo and conditioner.

Free parking in front of the hotel and there is an onsen up the road
The closest conbini is 7min drive away, closes at 7pm.
Not really any other options to eat at night.

Cons:

The breakfast wasn't as advertised. On the booking page it said English breakfast, Italian or buffet. we expected to be asked what we wanted but it wasn’t the case. We were given a small yoghurt, piece of fruit, biscuit then a plate of salad, sausage, scrambled egg, stewed veg, mushrooms. It was ok but not what we expected.

The room was surface clean but when you are sat in the bath you can see under the sink is manky. The bedding had what looked like pen stains on it, they were clean but old.

the rooms are not soundproofed, you might want to keep that in mind if you are a light sleeper.
