Wir waren nur für paar stunden da. Für längere Aufenthalte meiner Meinung nach nicht geeignet. Quito reicht paar Stunden aus um alles anzuschauen.

Me encantó este lugar.
Pros:

Es un hostal excelente con una ubicación privilegiada en el centro de la ciudad. Mario y Stanley son muy amables, serviciales y simpáticos. Sin duda me volvería a hospedar aquí si regreso a Ecuador.

Buen lugar para terminar la estadía en Quito.
Pros:

Está en pleno centro, así que es caminar un poco y ya estás en Plaza San Francisco o Plaza Grande. Hay supermercados cerca y estaciones para transporte público.

Cons:

De noche la zona es un poco picante. En el camino hay prostitución o algunas personas sin hogar. Es más problema de la ciudad que del hospedaje.

Ideale budget verblijfplaats om Quito te bezoeken
Pros:

Vriendelijke uitbaters en goede locatie vlak in/naast het historisch centrum. Goede prijs/kwaliteit-verhouding. We mochten onze rugzakken hier wat vroeger al achterlaten voor we konden inchecken.

Cons:

Beetje lawaaierig en geen daglicht in de kamer, badkamer had zicht op de gang.

One of the most magical experiences of my life.
Pros:

When I got into Quito, I was lost and confused in a city unlike any I'd ever been. I arrived at Yumbo Imperial at 2 am, not knowing check-in was restricted to noon each day. Still, the young owner kindly let me in and gave me the only single, private room available - even though I wasn't able to pay (they only accept cash) until the next day because I had drained my last $25 in cash getting the taxi from the airport. Throughout my stay, the staff have been kind, warm and patient with my stuttering Spanish. The area is beautifully decorated in colonial architecture, the streets are safe, and the people are very friendly. The city has a vibrance to it, and I loved walking down the vendor crowded streets. Definitely a good spot for backpackers and travel buddies who are looking to mesh with the local culture.

Cons:

Kitchen was a bit small, but clean. And understanding that nighttime security is a concern, having to pull the on-duty staff away to unlock the front door every time I needed to step out of the hostel was a bit cumbersome.
