Pros:

Mario is a fantastic host giving recommendations, when to go out/ where to go. Helping me with the metro (thank you!) and I left my bag with him (twice now) so I don’t have to lug it in all the busses when staying in near(ish)by cities and towns. Honestly fantastic, great central location, cheap and cheerful.
