Pomada and Ajith were the perfect hosts. Pomada's cooking is absolutely amazing 🤩 you feel really taken care of. The Safari tour they organised with Amila was so professional and good vibes. Amila was very very knowledgeable and respectful of the wild animals. We got to see so many different animals in their natural habitat. We loved our time here:))

De eigenaren zijn zulke lieve mensen. Ze lieten mij de jungle tempel zien en vertelden erover. Ook regelden ze voor een goede prijs de safari. Ik mocht het tijdstip zelf kiezen ! Ik raad 1400 tot 1800 aan.
Savonds kon je mee eten en at je met de andere gasten aan tafel. Heel leuk! Het eten was heel erg lekker! Ook het ontbijt was super lekker. Hele lieve behulpzame mensen.
Het bed was heel erg prettig en het is een goede plek om tot rust te komen. Snachts en savonds is het heerlijk stil
In de ochtend kun je aapjes zien vanuit de stoel.voor je huisje!

From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome. We were greeted with refreshing juice and delicious homemade muffins, which was such a lovely start to our stay. The safari was arranged for us in advance at a very fair price – the jeep was great, and our guide was friendly, experienced, and made the whole adventure unforgettable.

The hosts at the hotel were exceptionally warm and caring. In the evening, they even surprised us with some delicious curd, which was such a thoughtful touch. After our morning safari, they prepared an enormous breakfast with a variety of local delicacies that truly left nothing to be desired. They even packed the leftovers for us as a lunch package for later.

On top of that, they kindly helped organize our onward journey, making everything so easy and stress-free for us.

Great value! They keep the shared facilities very clean. WiFi worked well. It looked better than the pictures and the staff were amazing, Their safari was amazing and the driver was the best guide.

Amazing stay in Madiha. Clean, comfy rooms, nice breakfast and and smiling owner who were happy to help with anything we needed. Excellent value for money. Great location for safari. arranged a next day early morning Safari as well. Don’t forget to have their scrumptious breakfast.

Out of the way right feels right in the jungle, amazing staff really friendly and helpful with everything thing. Full local Breakfast made by the host was the cherry on top!

Budget hotel. Friendly service. Good wifi, great location. Perfect location to relax close to udawalawe National park. Owners are really nice and there some good restaurants close by. 3-hour Jeep safari was very satisfying.

A quiet rustic nature chalet with the most comfortable bed and pillows of our trip so far. Our host was exceptional, great English spoken and was able to provide lots of information about the animals and the area. An amazing cook! Greeted us with cake and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Monkeys were all around and hanging out which added to the experience. If you want cheap but excellent, this is it!

Location lovely. Simple but relaxing. Loved the monkeys and loved Pamoda and her husband who couldn’t do enough for us! Beautiful people. Pamoda made all the food and drink herself (traditional food). Would highly recommend this place for a relaxing stay. 🥰🥰

The accommodation is indeed in the jungle and could see monkeys and wild life.
We had delicious welcome lemonade and cake and the breakfast is huge!!

Aijith and Pamoda organise a morning safari which was wonderful, we saw so many elephants. And they packed us a breakfast.

The accommodation is exceptional value for money, comfortable bed, new AC, hot water, fridge, kettle and even a hairdryer! I really like the aesthetic of the bedrooms too. And a lovely little porch to sit and relax.
Its nears some resturants too and short walk to udawalawe junction.
