Toplage, tolle Hotelausstattung, die Suiten groß und schön ausgestattet . Fantastisches Frühstück! Sehr aufmerksames Personal!!!

Cons:

Die Suiten sind auf mehrere Häuser am Berg aufgeteilt. Der Weg zum Haupthaus ist etwas mühsam, da die Wege sehr steil sind. Es gäbe einen auch einen Fahrdienst…. möchte man jedoch nicht immer in Anspruch nehmen

Sehr schöner Poolbereich mit Ausblick, Personal war ok. Frühstück hatte eine sehr große Auswahl. Zimmer war echt schön und wirklich groß. Golfplatz sehr schön.

Entspannend und perfekt gelegen
Pros:

Alles wirklich exzellent. Rieseige Auswahl beim Frühstück und guter Service. Wir haben einmal am Abend im Restaurant gegessen und auch hier war das Essen super und der Service wahnsinnig gut! Kann ich wirklich weiterempfehlen!

Incredible views and amazing facilities
Pros:

Incredible views. Great facilities. Very spacious room. Delicious food (breakfast as well as dinner). Quiet but with plenty to do and conveniently located to discover Plettenberg Bay and Knysna. Would love to come back again.

Great room and facilities, but breakfast and tipping process disappointing.

Reception staff very friendly.

Cons:

The breakfast experience was disappointing. Although breakfast was included, we were still presented with a bill at the end of each meal and encouraged to leave a tip. This process felt unusual compared with other hotels. On one occasion, the server also gave us a speech explaining the tipping process, which made the situation awkward and uncomfortable.

We also noticed that on the bill the section showing the “recommended tip” had been scribbled out so that the suggested amount was not visible. This happened on more than one morning. Overall, the process felt poorly designed and did not align with the otherwise excellent service we received from the rest of the resort staff, who were fantastic.

For some reason the breakfast was halal. Aside from halal slaughter practices being cruel and unethical, it also significantly reduced the range of options available. The bacon and sausages that were served were noticeably poor quality.

Laundry services were also extremely expensive — a small wash cost around R1,200.

Finally, housekeeping did not replace the fire starters during our stay.
