Francesco was an excellent host and looked after us very well. The room was tidy and ideally located to explore Ravello and beyond.
Clean place to stay. No laundry on location. Pool was closed at the time we were there.
Place was really nice, apartment was really clean and overall beautiful. Beautiful landscapes and town. The problem es getting to the hotel or to the town is really really hard. Buses are very limited, walking is not a real option, vans really expensive and driving might be dangerous. Food at the town was really expensive
This property met our expectations and more!
The room was ready when we arrived and the on-site representative Luigi explained everything about the property , the room, the surrounding area, restaurants etc. Local transport, mini market, launderette are all close by.
Luigi was a pleasure to deal with and made every effort to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.
We met some lovely people and had an amazing time and without a doubt we will return.
Le Villette is a great place to stay! Very charming and peaceful. Only a few minutes walk to the square, Ravello shops and restaurants. Parking also available. Also close to transportation if you are looking to travel to Amalfi or other spots. I would not recommend driving or trying to find parking in the busy tourist areas! The pool is also a great amenity. I’ll be sure to visit again!
This is our first time in Italy , we loved that we were walking distance from the stores and restaurants. They were friendly and accommodating with transportation to and from the airport. It was also easy for us to find transportation to the Amalfi coast.
A nice place to stay, short walk to central Ravello. Beautiful location 🙂
Ett härligt ställe och Marita var väldigt hjälpsam och trevlig
The biggest advantages of this property is the pool, and its location. Restaurants and bars in Ravello are within walking distance. Without a car, it is still possible to get to Amalfi by bus, from where boats leave for other destinations along the beautiful Amalfi Coast.
This property was an excellent choice. We were warmly by Erica. The apartment was in an excellent location approx 5-7 minutes walk from the main Piazza, There was a swimming pool and a separate area to sunbathe which included a covered section with tables. It was a pleasure to be able to sit and look out over the valley watching the village opposite with a glimpse of the sea. The firework display was excellent and the viewing point first class!
Another level (lift present)l had a seating area with overhead grapes and a bbq area
Leaving through the back exit at the top level, there was a small supermarket within 200m beside a small square with fabulous views.
In the morning I was able to walk up the road 100m to Hotel Parsifal for a coffee on a beautiful terrace with outstanding views of the Amalfi Coast.,
This apartment was prefect for a family in a wonderful setting with excellent assistance from Deago and Erica who could not have been more helpful.
I will definitely return to this property, it is great apartment to spent time in wonderful Ravello.

Ingen klager overhovedet. Fantastisk service, og venlige, hjælpsomme personaler.
En øv ting😟: for lidt wcpapir til en hel uge.
The location of the property is great, the communication with the host was great also. The property itself is a little dated but acceptable. The towels were unusually thin. Lack of toiletries wasn't great either.
It was really great, we were worried about the reviews before we left as they were pretty harsh but the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful - really above and beyond especially considering how rude a lot of Italians in the service industry are to English speaking people. The room was massive and spotless and so was the general area and the pool area. The lady who met us for the late check in was around for the few days we were there and she was so nice and friendly. The value for money was fantastic.
Was just there this past weekend for a wedding. The location was absolutely perfect as it sas really close to the Duomo where the ceremony took place.
This is a very cute and charming place
(You must think of it as an apartment that you are renting : where you provide everything yourself) - It is not a "hotel" with a lobby and accommodations !
I Would def reccomend it and will most def stay there again if I go to ravello
Residence Le Villette is a fully furnished apartment (NOT A HOTEL WITH SERVICES) just 5 minutes from Ravello's town square. There are approximately 9 units on 2 levels. Our unit was on the upper level with a balcony and a better view than the lower level. The "third floor" is a sunning deck with some shade and a distant view of the sea. Nice pool away from the deck. Lots of closets, a pull-out couch & well-stocked kitchen (not food). VERY clean & comfortable w/ plenty of hot water. Excellent location that does not overlook the sea, but the view of the valley, vineyards, and towns on the facing mountain are exceptionally peaceful. Across the street is a small park, so there is easy access to the breathtaking views of the Mediterranean. The owner's limited English was a hindrance, but as long as you follow the rules, they try really hard to help. She has a cell phone with a translator. Le Villette hard to find, but have the phone number handy and they may come to get you. Whether to stay in Ravello vs Amalfi, it's hands down Ravello, and the price of Le Villette made that possible. As noted in the other reviews, the drop off/pick up in Amalfi for Ravello is under the canopy on the other side of the roundabout, to the right of the other buses. The other canopy to the left is for ferry trips, so if you see lots of advertisements, you're at the wrong canopy. In Ravello, the bus stop is next to a tunnel that will lead you into the town square.
This place is not a hotel, it's an apartment and the signage is ridiculous - it's faded and hidden. We arrived at 10pm not being made aware that there was no desk or concierge to speak of. Or even a phone number on the gate. Luckily our driver contacted the woman and after she gave me a rather rude shouting down the phone that I hadn't 'called her in advance', which was in no way explained in any booking correspondence, she thankfully got someone to drop round a key. You have to pay additional tourist tax and a €30 cleaning charge at the end. But it's super clean and a great location - rooms are big and showers powerful and hot. The beds are a bit lumpy but for the price they're about right. I'd recommend to friends looking for a cheap and DIY cheerful place to stay in the heart of Ravello.
My husband and I have stayed in Ravello several times and once before in Le Villette. This is a no frills apartment with great character and the previous time we stayed we felt the service was friendly and helpful. This time however, we were asked immediately on arriving for a Euro 50.00 fee for a final cleaning. We objected to this politely as we stressed that we had prepaid in full for our stay. There was also an issue of local tax per day and we immediately paid this as we know this has to be paid in all hotels and apartments. We were continually harrassed re this cleaning fee and I gave them a copy of our booking with you and advised that they ring you. I do not know if they did. Throughout our eight night stay there we had no change of towels or linen, or cleaning, which is totally unacceptable. We will go back to Ravello as we have done now for some years but never to Le Villette. Would not recommend it to anyone looking for an apartment.
The hotel was quite hard to find, however it was in a good area, and not far from the square, just not well sign posted, and down from the street so not immediately recognisable. The staff didn't speak any English which made it difficult to communicate. There was no soap, milk, tea coffee or hair dryer, and the appartment wasn't serviced at all which I didn't realise, but is apparently normal for this type of accommodation.
The hotel is situated on top of a hill. The scenery is breathtaking! We were greated by la signora Menna, a wonderful lady. She was very accommodating and very pleasant to deal with. The hotel has a pool and a very large terrace overlooking the gorgeous landscape below, very spectacular! We booked through expedia for 2 quadruple rooms. Rooms were very spacious with a full service kitchenette. The only unfavorable comment I have is that we found the 30.00 euro cleaning fee per room quite extensive as we only stayed for one night and an additional hotel fee of $45.00 per room was charged as they stated that additional beds were put in the rooms to accommodate 4 people per room. As previously stated we had booked for quadruple rooms, therefore had prepaid for 4 beds per room - hence the additional 45.00 should not have been charged. Overall, in spite of the additional fees, based on scenery, la signora Menna's great service and room size, we would definitely stay at this hotel again. In addition, parking for a 9 seater van was available with no problems. Thank you signora Menna!
