Very nice and modern.
The fact you are charged £7.50 per night to park your car and also they take a £50 charge off you on arrival on top of paying for the hotel.
Location was good , our view out the window was nice
Room, value for money. Staff wasn’t professional
Price good, for double room, at this time of year.
Window curtains could be double walled, to cut out street lights.
Staff friendly. Great location.
A bit run down and tired looking. Parking spaces unavailable but seemed not to be used. Breakfast just okay, no vegetarian options offered.
Didn't have any
How close it was to everything
Nothing
Ground floor room had double doors opening out onto a large paved patio area.
Power shower was good.
Bar prices were cheap.
Hotel had spaces for car parking.
Disorganisation with the hotel (either staff or booking system) meant that on day 2 of 4, i returned to find my room emptied and my belongings in reception. Sub-optimal.
Decorative standard was poor especially in high traffic areas.
Fit and finish of door furniture was poor generally.
TV in room was tiny and not 'smart' so couldn't link my phone to it for youtube.
My friends room had a poor, weak shower.
The 'entertainment' was atrocious. Like a one-person karaoke. It'd be better not to bother.
In a way, quite like 'fawlty towers'. Maybe it's deliberately ironically bad?
But for 72 quid a night it served the purpose.
Maintained its period character
There wasn’t a fridge in the room
We had room only, so didn’t experience breakfast
The room was clean but very basic, it had room for a comfy chair but there was only a dining room chair in there. The shower was pathetic it just dribbled with water which thankfully was warm, and you couldn’t stand under it,you had to hold the head so you could cover yourself in water. The hotel needs modernising.
Location and the staff
Showers , window let in a draft so did the door , bathroom wasn’t the best or toilet as it kept flooding and blocking ,
Room was very clean and fresh. With a comfortable bed and a big TV on the wall. Lovely decorated and with Victorian staircase and hallways. Had a lovely room with a cracking view of the garden and the Grand Pier.
Nothing it was a beautiful place with great views from my room
Good price and location and clean staff was friendly
Only thing that I could say could of done with darker curtains and light shine in very early and couldn’t go back to sleep
