Сервис хороший. На Reception сидел парень очень весёлый, вежливый.
The payment did not go through the booking.com system. So they made me pay with uzs. I was not in Uzbekistan so it was hard for me to find uzs and give to them. Meanwhile they made me to pay it faster and that was a pressure. It was not my fault that your payment system doesn’t work internationally and you expect me to pay uzs that fast.
Property was good.
The price is affordable and the most of the staff speak English. They helped me carry the luggage up and down the stairs at check in and check out.
When I arrived, the receptionist didn't know the price I had booked through Booking.com. He was trying to charge me for 1 night at the usual rate, although I had booked at a lower price for 5 nights, it took a while to figure it out, and after a long travel, this is quite unpleasant. Later in the day, when I exchanged money and paid my bill in local currency, another receptionist who was the only one on duty at the time didn't want to provide a receipt, and I insisted on at least some proof that I paid. After a while he agreed. 15 minutes later he was knocking on my door frantically and through google translate (cause this receptionist didn't know English) said he charged me less and wanted more money There is no elevator, so lots of stairs to carry luggage. The room had a full wall in windows, nice for light, but not for noise. It's a busy street and there is a lot of traffic, online meetings were difficult to follow with all that noise. The breakfast was decent, but the staff would often join breakfast, which is pretty strange. The last day I negotiated the price for an additional half day with one receptionist, but when I was actually leaving there was another receptionist who was trying to charge me the full price-even though I didn't stay the night. Poor business conduct in my opinion. And the rooms are super hot, the heating cannot be controlled and even though I like a warm room, this was unbearable.
