Stylish & Fun Hotel in a Very Convenient Location
Pros:

Location was extremely central and convenient for what we needed. Property is very attractive and not the typical, mundane sort of hotel. Fun lounge for a nightcap after we returned from dinner. Room was stylish and fun. Absolutely fantastic mattress and pillows!

Cons:

Thermostat functionality was annoying but HVAC worked very well once we figured it out.

Loved it and will be back!
Pros:

Love the location, I’ve stayed a few times and really enjoy the neighborhood. Amazing hotel with great decor and attention to detail.

Cons:

Only thing I’ll point out is try to avoid the rooms on the ground floor with exterior entrances. The weather proofing on the doors just isn’t up to par and could definitely use some work on that.

All in all a wonderful stay but slippers would've made me rate this place a 10.
Pros:

The bed was amazing and I loved the design of the bathroom. The property grounds was very nice and welcoming; I loved all the landscaping. The restaurant was delicious. The minibar selections were great as well.

Cons:

The dimmers were a thoughtful touch, but they didn't have dimmable lightbulbs in the socket so the lights were either on or off. There weren't any slippers provided and the bathroom floors are marble so it's a bit chilly on the feet when getting out of the shower.

A true urban oasis
Pros:

Design and decor, by far. Location too. Montrose needs good hotels. Landscaping is amazing.

Cons:

Our room had only a small table and chair to sit on. No counter space in the main area and a small counter in the bathroom.

Luxury hotel that can't provide basic comforts
Pros:

The property is absolutely gorgeous, and the staff is friendly. The restaurant and bar's food and decor are both elevated and well worth a visit.

Cons:

The St. Augustine - a luxury hotel at luxury hotel prices failed to provide me with the most basic hotel services. They didn't clean my room, even though I placed the door tag out in the morning. They did not fix the cold shower that I asked about twice and I couldn't shower for a meeting. Finally they did not deliver my breakfast room service on one of my two days. A real bummer.
Finally, they do not provide in-room basic coffee and tea and fresh water.

Wonderful stay!!
Pros:

This place is just worth it for its architecture!! And Everything else is perfect: the food is top quality, the service, the staff is very kind. Rooms are very comfortable, with everything you need. The bed was awesome, with nice linen and 3 cushion each. The bathroom soap and shampoo was also top quality! Location is perfect for visit the Menil Collection, and the neighborhood seems nice and safe.

Cons:

They have a ballroom and host events sometimes, but the music stopped really early in the evening and we could sleep very good.
