The staff were friendly and very pleasant. The vegetarian breakfast was very good.
Good location with a large car park. The bed was comfortable.
The bedroom was Ok but, being in the roof, it had a sloping ceiling to one side which limited the space to stand up.
The bathroom was OK but there was no light near the mirror so shaving was not easy. There was a faulty light in the ceiling which kept flashing and was not replaced despite the fact that I had asked for it to be replaced.
We loved our room it was perfect, so comfortable and cozy! the balcony was a wonderful surprise too as i didn’t think we was going to get one as i only booked a classic room which was amazing!!
the only real issue was our heater didn’t work and the room was freezing cold, but luckily being under the duvet kept us quite warm and i had brought warm pjs to sleep in given the fact it is winter.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Millie and Carl were brilliant. Room was beautiful and the bed was unreal, so comfy
Only downside is the green light for a sensor on the ceiling being on all night

Being told that room 106 was next to Kitchen Fan and very noisy from 07 until 2100 would have been handy
Good sized car park. Smokers kept well away from the entrances was a bonus. Layout a bit topsy-turvy but it grew on me. Lots of different beers and ales. Fairly busy but not overcrowded or to noisy, apart from the 4 girls sat next to us who brayed like hyenas most of the time :-(
Loved the bedroom décor, good sized room, good sized bathroom, good sized shower. Good sized bed, desk area and lots of sockets with USB chargers. Staff were chatty and genuinely friendly, evening meal was good, although a tad sparse.
Stairs, lots of stairs. Shower head could have done with a clean, mainly to unblock the jets, and fixed as it was hanging off the wall. Sink drained away far to slowly so that needs looking at.
While I thought the room was GVFM I thought that the food portions did not match the price paid tbh, especially the breakfast which wasn't the best of meals I've ever had. Would I stay there again, I most certainly would, as I liked the place overall and a few bits, that can be easily sorted, don't really bother me, but need to be mentioned.

An earlier breakfast start, especially during the week. Didn’t have time for a decent breakfast as had to leave at 8.00.

Extremely disappointed with our stay at the B&K. The room itself was tiny, with questionable stains on the carpet and damp cracked walls & ceilings. The damp patches were soaking to touch and the wooden window frame was also damp and rotting. The window itself wouldn’t shut fully, so we were kept awake all night by the constant traffic outside of the building. There was loud banging and crashing throughout the building all night which just added to keeping us awake. The room definitely wasn’t worth the cost paid & we wouldn’t stay again or recommend to anyone else.
Food was very good
We only stayed one night but it was ideal for our needs..
The tables in the restaurant needed cleaning down before we sat but that’s only a silly little thing… food was great and the staff very helpful and friendly
