Enjoyed some nice coffee in the morning and a reasonable continental breakfast. Staff there were really nice.
Location - it was noisy. The pub opposite had a pub quiz that went on too late. This was a Tuesday night - what would it be like on a Friday / Saturday, I dread to think.
Didn't think Lincoln is properly geared up to be a tourist destination. Service in Pizza Express was just pants - come on girls. I know you hate working there but at least try. One particular security personnel in the castle grounds were poorly informed and just .. well shitty. Can't you do better than this? And while I'm on, if you work in the Tourist Information Centre, do try and give out accurate information. What's the heck is wrong with you all.
Being given a parking ticket when the machines were out of order when we arrived and not back till 10 pm that night

The hotel was right next to the castle which we were going to a gig at.
There was no lift and vegan options were limited for breakfast.
People were making a lot of noise til late (Sunday night) at the pub just over the road.
Great hotel great location to the castle and cathedral. Lovely clean comfortable with great staff. Especially Sally who went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed and was genuinely happy to help even though it was apparent how busy she was, so accomodating. Also lovely Eve freindly and helpful at breakfast. Lovely continental breakfast included in our stay.
Cheap, very noisy fan which travelled across the chest of drawers when switched on, but very minor dislike.
Location, location, location. Not too expensive. Ideal for the Live in Lincoln concerts. Entrace to the concert is literally over the road. Staff friendly and helpful. Great for everything at the top of tge hill.
Fan in the room for the heatwave was not very good.
Fabulous place to spend a night for a gig at Lincoln Castle. Comfortable, affordable, clean and well equipped. All this bad press about the breakfast is unfounded. IT'S A CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST!! There's loads of choices and unless you're extant fry up, you won't be disappointed. Lovely helpful staff so five stars 🌟 from me 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
