Pros:

our room, the pool area, staff and food were excellent

it was really lovely and relaxing

Cons:

the distance from any other restaurants/towns - the staff were quite resistant to helping with taxi's and I did have a bit of a row with one girl - also taxi are very expensive €25 for 10 minute journey

the beach club is good value in comparison to other "luxury" clubs nearby - however the facilities and decor are quite dated and the staff are very disorganised (but nice people)

Pros:

Breakfast! Outdoor pool.

Cons:

The free beach associated with the hotel with free shuttle service was closed for the season. This was not clearly communicated when we booked, so was a surprise to us. We had to pay to use a nearby beach 50 pp and pay for transportation to get there and back.

We wished we could have stayed longer
Pros:

The buildings are on an immense plot of land in the middle or olive groves.It has many white washed buildings dotted with olives and flower. Many of the olives are many centuries old. the rooms are immaculate and tastefully furnished. The property exudes peacefulness.
The masseria has an excellent in house restaurant and has an extensive wine list. The staff are kind and helpful.

Cons:

We had a car but the location ca. 4 km outside of Monopoli requires one.

A truly special experience at Il Melograno, Monopoli

The hotel is simply stunning - a large and beautiful estate with only a small number of rooms, which makes you feel as if the entire place is yours. Everything is spotless, peaceful, and incredibly charming.

The food is great, with a rich breakfast, and also the restaurant for dinner was very good!

The service was excellent and very personal. A special thanks to Alessandra, who hosted a wonderful cooking class for us. She was so kind, patient, and knowledgeable - she truly taught us the art of cooking! It was such a lovely and unique experience to prepare, bake, and even take home what we made, along with the recipe as a keepsake 😉.

Alessandra also gave us great local recommendations that made our stay even better.
We truly loved every moment and will definitely come back!

O restaurante deixa a desejar. Pratos com pouco sabor, que não traduzem os sabores marcantes da cozinha italiana. Preços altos para o que entregam no prato.
