The view. The bath in the room.

Cons:

Big disappointment, I contacted the hotel before our arrival to confirm that the swimming pool will be open as a previous guest left a comment that it was closed. They assured me it will be open, upon arrival they had a sign on reception saying it's closed for maintance. Staff member told me it's like that all the time.
Room service was always cold on arrival to our room.

Great hotel, my favourite stay in China over the years
Pros:

Stayed at Pullman many times over the years and highly recommended the hotel

Cons:

Bar area in foyer had no staff serving there so waited long time for service. As it was Chinese new year, would expect it to have had good staff and entertainment to encourage you to stay within hotel

Pros:

Very good stay overall.
The room was comfortable and spacious. I appreciated the bed and pillow selection (one soft, one firmer), which suited me perfectly. There was always hot water, the room was warm, and the view over the wide river was stunning. Daily room service was provided, and the elevators were fast and convenient.
Breakfast offered a very wide selection, including both local Chinese and Western dishes. The bar on the 31st floor serves good cocktails and the restaurant on the second floor is also very good.

Cons:

It seems the hotel clearly used to be very very luxurious, but now some signs of wear and aging are noticeable.

Nice place to stay with v helpful staff
Pros:

Lovely room and very friendly staff. Location perfect by the river. Particularly enjoyed the complimentary fruit basket. Gym was one of the best hotel gyms.

Cons:

Major faff if you want to exchange money. Beware of breakfast finishing at 10.30 at weekends - they are already clearing up at 10. Maybe it’s a cultural thing.
