Coffee at breakfast really unpleasant (and I drink a lot of coffee so drink most!)
We upgraded to a deluxe room - which instead of a sofa, has an extra bed taking up the spare space

Posizione centralissima, perfetta per visitare Bergen a piedi. La suite mansardata è molto accogliente, spaziosa e curata, con un bagno ampio e una splendida vasca che rende il soggiorno ancora più piacevole.

Un ringraziamento speciale va a una nostra conterranea italiana che lavora in hotel: è stata di una gentilezza e disponibilità straordinarie. Quando abbiamo avuto bisogno di trovare un pronto soccorso, ci ha aiutati con grande premura e umanità. È stata davvero un angelo. Grazie di cuore per aver reso il nostro soggiorno ancora più speciale.

Die Lage ist hervorragend.

Cons:

Wir hatten ein Deluxe Zimmer gebucht. Es war klein, dunkel mit schrägen Wänden und Decken, der Teppichboden - wie alt? Nur das Bad ist relativ neu und hell. Wir hatten Besseres erwartet.

Pros:

A wonderful hotel in a fantastic location, right in the center of Bergen. Everything was within easy walking distance, and we felt very safe at all times, even late in the evening.

The hotel itself has a very special charm. The historic building creates a unique atmosphere that fits perfectly with Bergen. The breakfast was excellent — fresh, generous, and with a great selection.

We really enjoyed our stay and would book this hotel again anytime.

Cons:

Les escaliers étroits et raides pour monter dans une chambre mansardée avec un lucarneau. Pas de vue,pas de fenêtres. . Très sombre.

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und es gab eine gute Auswahl an Speisen. Die Zimmer waren sauber, ordentlich und gepflegt, sodass wir uns direkt wohlgefühlt haben.

Besonders positiv fanden wir, dass wir unser Gepäck sowohl bei der Ankunft vor dem Check-in als auch nach dem Auschecken problemlos im Hotel abstellen konnten. Das war für unsere Reiseplanung sehr hilfreich und komfortabel.

Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit, und insgesamt herrschte eine angenehme Atmosphäre im Hotel. Wir würden dieses Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und gerne wiederkommen.

Wir sagen Danke und kommen wieder.
Pros:

Sehr geschmackvolles Zimmer 220 mach hinten und absolut ruhig.Tolles Bett, gute Kissen und ein wunderschönes großes Bad mit Wanne und Dusche getrennt. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, wir haben nichts vermisst. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Parken war auch kein Problem … Parkhaus 5 min zu Fuß.

Un séjour fabuleux et authentique !

Merci infiniment à toute l équipe du Det Hanseatiske Hotel pour leur hospitalité chaleureuse et leur gentillesse !
La chambre était prête à notre arrivée et la suite au dernier étage fut parfaite, confortable , propre et hyper spacieuse , dans un environnement privilégié et hors du temps , un havre de paix où nous étions choyés en plein centre ville de Bergen ! L atmosphère des lieux historiques est absolument authentique , on a adoré !!! Bravo aussi pour le merveilleux petit déjeuner gourmand, varié et revigorant !
Excellente adresse à recommander 🇳🇴❤️
