La ubicación

Cons:

No hay recepción, la dueña Gladys directamente nos echó porque era domingo y se tenía que ir dejándonos con las mochilas a cuestas algo que JAMÁS en ningún país nos pasó. La luz SE CORTA y tampoco tienen generador eléctrico con lo cual si quieren dormir bien este no es el lugar. Pésimo. Jamás nos pasó el trato que recibimos por parte de este hospedaje. Muy desilusionados. NO VENGAN a este hotel.

There is no reception; the owner, Gladys, simply kicked us out because it was Sunday and she had to leave, forcing us to take our backpacks around—something that has NEVER happened to us in any other country. The power goes out, and they don't have a generator, so if you want a good night's sleep, this isn't the place for you. Terrible. We have never experienced treatment like this at any other accommodation. We were deeply disappointed. DO NOT come to this hotel.

La ubicación es perfecta

Cons:

No me permitieron pagar con tarjeta y me tocó cancelar con efectivo, esto me afectó mucho ya que llevamos dinero de comidas en efectivo porque en teoría íbamos a cancelar hospedaje con tarjeta ya que el hotel da esa opción por medio de esta página!

Das Bett war sehr groß und bequem. Außerdem war die Unterkunft sehr zentral. Der Check in und out war problemlos. Für einen kurzen Zwischstopp ist das Zimmer ausreichend.

Hanno il serbatoio d'acqua per riempire le proprie bottiglie.
Posizione buona, giusto un paio di passi dal meetingpoint "i love peten".

Cons:

Non c'è acqua calda per farsi la doccia.
Fuori le camere ci sono i motori dei climatizzatori che vanno tutta la notte, rendendo difficile dormire.
Accetta solo pagamenti in Quetzal contanti, se si chiede di pagare in USD gonfiano il prezzo (non è una questione di "valuta" ma di "quanto mi dai").

I absolutely loved the place. For many reasons. First of all, the host, Gladys, is the sweetest lady ever. Kind, more than friendly, helpful, felt like family. Then the location was also great; everything you can possibly need is within max 5' walking distance. The place had everything you can think of. A shared kitchen, but also its own kitchenette inside the room with a fridge, stove, etc. Free fresh water. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Working AC. The balcony was nice too. I will come back to Flores/Peten for sure and stay at Gladys' beautiful place again next time.

Pros:

Gladys was so accommodating and lovely. We arrived early in the morning and she allowed us to check in early. We did Tikal sunrise the next day and allowed us to leave our bags until the afternoon. Room was clean. It was a quiet place, perfect for us, and great value! 100% recommend! Thank you Gladys.

Decent stay
Pros:

Easy to find and friendly owner.

Cons:

It was so hot in the room. The room was on the lower floor so no breeze was blowing through the windows, so always turned on the ceiling fan. The toilet is very low for some reason, so was uncomfortable to use.
