BlissPoint Inn Wabash

Let me start by saying for $60 a night, I didn’t expect much. However, before even going in the room there were old mattresses all around the dumpster. The first thing I noticed walking in room 111, is a fist size hole in the wall. Windows were filthy, tv remote didn’t work, no trash can, comforter had holes in it, pillows were dirty with a clean pillowcase over. The ac unit is a window unit sitting on the floor, no phone in the room, yellow stains on the ceiling. Lobby and restaurant smell like chlorine from the indoor pool, I’m assuming it it’s not functional because no one was there and the door and blinds were shut.

The first room given to me was dirty! The pillows were very dirty/unclean! The office chair had dirt all over it and the air conditioning not working! Then given second room which faucet in sink leaked all over when in use! Very antiquated facilities!

Staff was very helpful and somewhat accommodating but the room was a whole different story. The air didn't work right in the first room so we switched rooms. The second room wasn't any nicer but the air conditioner worked better there. The bed was outstanding as far comfort and blankets but the rest of the room was not nice and the TV was horrible it was outdated, the room had no carpet it was tile floor is it all together very ran down. The light fixtures had the bulbs taken out with the exception of 2 bulbs which made it very hard to even see when it was nighttime out.

Needed updated and I had to go buy cleaning supplies to clear it better.

Upon arrival we were given a room, the ac did not work properly, room did not cool off, we talked to the man @ the front desk regarding the AC & toilet seat not being screwed down to toilet & only having 1 screw to hold the almost disconnected seat on, he was very nice & polite, he said he would have someone look @ it the next day.
The room was warmer than outside air. we had to leave the door open until we went to be, it was uncomfortable to do so.
The next morning we went to front desk again, advising the temperature was to get to the 90's & AC was not working properly. The man (different) put us in another room, ac worked better, the floor was cleaner BUT the toilet seat was barely hanging on by 1 seat bolt....again.
We bit the bullet, screwed it back on as best as 1 bolt would hold. In both rooms there was only 1 bath towel (2 hand & face clothes).
the outside of the motel was ok, however there were people sleeping/living in a white truck down from our room from the time we checked & still there when we checked out.

Room was musty

No towels in room, no small bottles to wash with, bed was unmade. When we asked for towels they were gonna make us wait 2 days for housekeeping! People are living there in cars and in the hotel and when my boyfriend went out to our boat he had a man yelling at him for going out to OUR boat.

The housekeeper didn't know English

The rooms was dirty. Mattress was horrible. The shower was dirty! Found cheerios in one rooms drawers found used dental flossers on sink. Found hair in shower

Places, rundown, and nothing like in the pictures there were no ice machines. We were scared to go up and down the stairs because the floors looked like they were going to fall through the concrete was all cracked. The pool had about a foot of water in it, which was black and there were, bullfrogs croaking around it all night that we had to turn up our air conditioner so we wouldn’t hear them. There were lots of shady people running around the whole complex. Looks like they were living there. The place was just a dump before my mom passed we used to come up there every week , and have Sunday dinner up there now they don’t even have a restaurant. The rooms are horrid and smelled of smoke and our blankets had burn holes in them from cigarettes. The fire alarm was pulled off the wall and was laying on top of our TV I will never stay there again. It was just horrible .

The fact that I never had housekeeping come to my room at all for the whole stay, even after I asked that they come every other day.
