Bella struttura, non totalmente all’altezza delle aspettative
Pros:

La posizione è sicuramente uno dei plus: l’hotel si trova alla Punta Zicatela, in una zona molto piacevole, vicina a ristoranti, negozi e a tutto ciò che serve per vivere la zona comodamente.
La struttura è molto bella, e la piscina sul rooftop è davvero splendida: un ottimo spazio per rilassarsi e godersi l’atmosfera di Puerto Escondido.
Menzione speciale per il bartender Diego: cocktail ottimi e piacevoli chiacchierate. Un vero punto di forza del Mantra.

Cons:

Il letto è uno dei più scomodi in cui abbia mai dormito: molto molle, così come il cuscino, oltre i limiti del ragionevole. Inoltre, il condizionatore, indispensabile visto il caldo, era rumoroso. Le due cose, sommate, hanno reso difficile dormire bene per le 6 notti del soggiorno.
Inoltre, abbiamo trovato due scarafaggi in bagno nell’arco di una notte. Pur comprendendo che siamo in un ambiente tropicale e che aveva piovuto, è qualcosa che, per una struttura 4 stelle, non ci saremmo aspettati. La cosa è stata comunque risolta in breve tempo.
Infine, un aspetto che ho trovato poco professionale riguarda il pagamento degli extra al termine del soggiorno. Ci è stata semplicemente comunicata una cifra complessiva, senza una ricevuta o un riepilogo itemizzato delle singole voci che ci permettesse di verificarne la correttezza.
L’importo richiesto era plausibile e quindi non abbiamo insistito, ma alla nostra richiesta di avere il dettaglio delle singole voci siamo ignorati, anche a causa delle difficoltà di comunicazione in inglese. Un ulteriore punto a sfavore, considerando il posizionamento della struttura: ci aspetteremmo che almeno alla reception fosse possibile comunicare agevolmente in inglese, mentre con alcune persone è stato praticamente impossibile.

Excelente ubicación e instalaciones. Las bebidas del bar son muy ricas. La alberca está limpia y agradable. Hay clases de yoga gratis por la mañana, por lo que está padre empezar tu día con eso mientras sale el sol. El hotel también está ubicado a 5 min de una calle muy popular y con muchos restaurantes, y además a otros 5 minutos de la playa.

Cons:

Son cosas menores, pero las toallas para playa o alberca ya están algo percudidas. La toalla de manos del hotel es muy pequeña (es una toalla facial) y los cubre colchones tienen algunas manchas. Pero fuera de esa la limpieza del hotel y los cuartos es muy buena.

Great place to relax
Pros:

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Mantra Boutique! The hotel has a warm and relaxing atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and a very friendly staff who were always happy to help. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The location is excellent, close to both the beach and great restaurants.
We especially appreciated that the hotel provided a secure place to store our luggage and allowed us to continue using the facilities after check-out, which made our departure day much more comfortable and enjoyable.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay! 😊

The matress in this hotel is terribly soft and we both woke up with back pain the next day. It makes you sink deeply into the bed and feels like you cannot rest. We asked the hotel for assistance but they simply took down the topper late in the evening with the matress being equally soft. There was no other option but for us to change the hotel as soon as we could the next day. Unfortunately, the accomodation staff was very non-cooperative and non-understanding and we had to handle everything with Booking to obtain a partial refund for the nights we were unable to spend there.

Our stay was comfortable, enjoyable and relaxing.
Pros:

The rooftop pool was excellent. We really enjoyed the free breakfast and coffee. They have the best “croissants” this side of Paris, only available Wednesday through Saturday. Our shower was the best , abundant hot water and plenty of water pressure. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

There is a bar/music venue next door with live music Wednesday and Saturday nights, which can be a bit loud. I really did enjoy the band otherwise would have been more annoying. I believe they quit playing around 11.

Amazing hotel, want to visit again!
Pros:

Amazing hotel - room was so comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. Bed was genuinely the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in! Staff were so friendly and helpful.
Great location - right by La Punta beach and a 15 min drive to other beaches. Definitely recommend staying here to anyone.
