It was very relaxed, great place for remote working as well, very close to the beach.

Cons:

In our room (no. 12) everything was great apart from one thing - ants. There were many many ants. We dealt with them on our own, but it was a surprise definitely.

Nettes Hotel mit Luft nach oben, vor allem bei dem Preis!
Pros:

Die Lage war an sich ganz gut, weil zentral. Aber vor dem Hotel am Strand sind unzählige Surfschulen und daher ist der Strand eher nicht fürs Baden für Familien geeignet - da wird man schon fast übersurft.
Das Hotel war sauber und das Zimmer sehr schön und modern. Auf Nachfrage durften wir ein bestimmtes Zimmer als Familie nutzen, welches eigentlich nur für zwei Personen ist (unsere Kinder sind noch sehr klein und schlafen bei uns). Was sehr hervorzuheben ist: das Frühstück war leider nichts für unsere Kinder (hatten davor schon eine Magenverstimmung und wollten daher "Essen wie zuhause") und wir konnten uns mit dem Hotel einigen, dass wir unser Frühstück auslassen, dafür aber ein paar Drinks (statt dem Frühstück) am Pool konsumieren und sie uns dafür nichts extra verrechnen. Hätten sie nicht müssen, war also überaus entgegenkommend von ihnen!
Das Team generell war sehr engagiert und wenn man eine Anfrage hatte, dann kümmerten sie sich gleich darum.
Das Hotel wurde nachts "zugesperrt" bzw bewacht - man fühlt sich also wirklich sehr sicher!
Der Lärm von der Straße direkt daneben ist wirklich sehr laut, ABER die Fenster sind sehr, sehr gut verglast, dass man im Zimmer kaum was hört davon! Auf der Terrasse gemütlich sitzen ist aber nicht so entspannend..

Cons:

Der Pool hat extrem nach Chemie gerochen, sodass auch die Kinder nicht so gerne rein gegangen sind. Generell ist der Pool schon bisschen in die Jahre gekommen und Reparaturen hie und da wären notwendig.
Das Zimmer wurde nicht gereinigt, erst auf Nachfrage (dann aber sehr bald!).
Kein "eigener Strand" - muss jetzt per se kein Hotelstrand sein, aber der Strand war eben überfüllt von Surfschulen und SurferInnen und daher wars als Familie einfach nicht passend. Das Meer war auch nicht sonderlich schön in dieser Bucht (eine Bucht weiter in Mirissa hatten wir einen ganz tollen Badetag mit perfektem Familienstrand).
Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat nicht ganz gepasst. War dann doch sehr teuer, aber das drum herum hat nicht ganz gepasst.

Fijn relaxed hotel met vriendelijk personeel
Pros:

Vriendelijk personeel, lekker ontbijt en een heerlijk zwembad

Cons:

De kamer was wat kaal en naast ons was de ruimte voor de onderhoudswerkzaamheden, daar waren ze vaak met wat lawaai aan het werk/ bouwplaats naast ons huisje

Un peu décevant
Pros:

Proche de la plage, petit déjà pas mal

Cons:

La piscine est jaune, pas très propre.
On a été sous-gradées pour une raison pas claire, c’est en allant râler sur le fait que la chambre ne ressemble pas aux photos qu’on nous a donné la bonne chambre, et celle-ci n’était ni propre ni préparée.

The service from the staff was amazing. They exchanged our Stirling for Sri Lanka Rupees. Lovely breakfast.
Location so close to the beach and next to lots of eateries to choose from. They also accommodated last minute and airport run for us.
Very helpful and kind right from arrival. ☺️

Prima
Pros:

Prima locatie. Ontbijt was Klein en niet bijzonder, beter haal je wat in de buurt. Kamers waren prima netjes.

Cons:

Foto’s en de prijs wekken de indruk dat het luxer is dan het daadwerkelijk bleek (wel nog steeds prima verbleven).

Too expensive for what they offer
Cons:

Even though we booked a superior double room with sea view we were given a room at the corner of the building which I am sure used to be a storage. We refused to stay in that room and luckily moved a better room. Looking at the previous reviews I see many people complained about the same room so think twice before booking.
There is limited breakfast, they offer 3 different menus you can choose. Not the best but okay.
Rooms are not cleaned unless you ask for it. Same goes for pool facilities, I witnessed the color of the pool water turned green through out our stay and I had to ask it to be cleaned.
Price is too high to what they overall offer

Great stay...
Pros:

Really lovely staff, great breakfast, brilliant location, clean and spacious room with an ocean view.

Cons:

If I had to pick any fault with this hotel, it would be that there was a kettle but no tea/coffee provided. But this would be a tiny thing with an overall great stay, would definitely pick this hotel again.

Pros:

Ich war sehr gestresst bei Anreise aber das Personal war super nett. Gemütliches grosses Zimmer mit bequemen Bett. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Ich konnte mich gut am Pool entspannen, tolle Lage direkt am Strand und im Zentrum.

Cons:

Durch die Nähe zur Straße etwas laut, oropax nicht vergessen;)
