Pros:

Wir waren auf der Durchreise und haben eine Nacht in diesem schönen Hotel in Schärding verbracht. Das gesamte Haus hat uns sehr beeindruckt. Die Zimmer sind modern, sehr gepflegt und offensichtlich erst vor Kurzem renoviert worden.

Das Frühstück war ausgesprochen reichhaltig, mit einer großen Auswahl und hochwertigen Produkten – ein perfekter Start in den Tag. Das Frühstück konnten wir in einer sehr schönen, urigen Gaststube genießen, die eine besonders gemütliche Atmosphäre ausstrahlt.

Das Biedermeier war früher einmal eine Brauerei, und man spürt noch heute den besonderen Charme und das herrschaftliche Flair dieses historischen Hauses.

Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder hier einkehren. Eine klare Empfehlung!

Lokatie en kamers top ouwe vrouw 80+ achter balie drinkt smorgens eerst liter azijn
Ontbijt was super slecht broodjes zo oud was niet genoeg ja wortels en tomaten tafels waren niet schoonhemaakt of gedekt nee op deze wijze niet heen gaan of zonder dure ontbijt nemen

Ontbijt zo slecht oud brood er was niks tafels niet gedekt rommel van andere lag er nog er was niemand om te helpen zeer slecht

Dem Preis angemessen
Pros:

Die Lage ist gut. Reichhaltiges und leckeres Frühstück (bis auf den Automatenkaffee). Zimmereinrichtung ist tw. in die Jahre gekommen, aber okay.

Cons:

Ungünstig geplantes, verwinkeltes Bad. Ständig ist irgendeine Tür im Weg. Über der Dusche könnte mal wieder mit Anti-Schimmel-Farbe gestrichen werden.

An der Kommunikation muss dringend gefeilt werden: Ich komme an der Hauptfassade in der Passauer Straße an, Aber die Hoteltür ist abgeschlossen. Keine Info sichtbar.

Ich rufe also an und Frau Hofmann erklärt (nachdem sie nach zwei Anläufen verstandet hatte, wo ich denn stehe) mir in sagen wir mal neutralem Ton, dass ich da ja vollkommen falsch bin und hintenrum über die Seitenstraße in den Parkplatz soll und dann nochmal anrufen. Okay, also bisher hatte ich Kommunikation mit Gästen in Österreich vollkommen anders erlebt.

Und warum nicht einfach einen entsprechenden Info-Zettel an der Tür anbringen?

An der richtigen (auch verschlossenen) Tür bekomme ich den Code für den Schlüsselsafe und soll dann unmissverständlich von innen die Hoteltür absperren. Äh, nein?! Das ist der einzige in meinem Zimmer ausgewiesene Fluchtweg, der auch in Österreich niemals verschlossen werden darf, Frau Hofmann. Außen ist eh ein Knauf. Die Türe lässt sich von außen nur mit Schlüssel öffnen. Ich sperre natürlich nicht ab, das wäre im Brandfall unentschuldbar. Als ich abends das Hotel verlassen will, ist natürlich doch abgesperrt.

Wir hatten eine kleine Küchenzeile im Zimmer und das Geschirr war leider sehr dreckig daher haben wir unsere Gläser erst waschen müssen bevor wir es benutzten... Und die Küchentücher haben gefehlt....

Cute hotel, very centrally located
Pros:

Nice hotel in the centre of Scharding, with spacious rooms and friendly, easy going staff. Breakfast was decent and the whole atmosphere was very relaxed. Good size beds with good quality mattresses. The parking is a plus.

Sehr nettes Hotel in guter Lage
Pros:

Das Zimmer sehr schön groß, auch das Bad groß mit Tageslicht, die Matratze weich. Obwohl man sofort in der Altstadt ist, ist das Hotel sehr ruhig gelegen, mit hübschem Garten. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und reichhaltig, man saß in gemütlichen Gasträumen.

The hotel is well located and with some updates it could be realy nice.
Pros:

Location was very close to all down town area activities and restaurants

Cons:

The facility is dated, the room furniture well used, the carpet stained.
No air condition.
The breakfast had good selections, but the bread and bakery goods were not fresh, even on weekdays.
