I had a wonderful experience at Kathmandu Peace Hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and affordable — perfect for budget travelers. The location is peaceful yet close to the main attractions of Thamel. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet, budget-friendly.

I really like staying a little further away from the hustle and bustle of Thamel. From here, I could walk to most of the tourist stuff was in under 20 minutes, but I also had the benefit of more peace and quiet and getting a glimpse into the local lifestyle.
The staff are lovely and very accommodating. When I had a night bus they let me take a nap on my bed after checkout.
There rarely was soap and toilet paper in the toilet.
