Paradise Suites Hotel

The worst experience in my life in an accommodation was spent in this place. First of all, it is a dirty, old-fashioned place, they changed my room on three occasions. The first time there was a tarantula in the bathtub and there was only hot water burning, the second room, the air conditioning or the television was not working, and the third time the matres looked like metal, there was a bad smell. My reservation was 6 days, I could only stay for 1 day, since I was with my son and I did not feel safe or comfortable, nor are the motels in my country as depressing as this place. They did not want to return the money for the remaining days. If you do not want to spend a horror stay, do not book at this hotel.

The hotel needs upgrading. There was a hole in the roof next to the AC unit. There was no room service to clean the room for the 3 days that we were there. There was a lot of noise at night from the front desk staff. I would not recommend staying at this place. This room was not worth the price they are charging.

Terrible, do not speak English, no WiFi, no tv, double booked our room. The other party tried to break in with same room key. Awful, awful, awful. Can’t believe they call it hotel!!

antiquated rooms and facilities. Shower handle broken. No chair in room. Looks like I went back to the 1950's. Sinking falling off wall. Escalator broken.

Mattress was not firm. Room was small, looked like it was furnished from garage sales.

The staff were great and the room was clean, to the best of a housekeeper’s ability. I’ve seen other reviews that say the hotel needs a renovation, I think it just needs the care of a tradesman. Done of the bathroom tile were held down with tape.
The room had no water when I checked in, but that was quickly remedied.
Overall, I would say this place just needs done skilled attention.

Liked some of the staff. Poor communication. We asked to stay another hour and was okayed. They didn’t mention that it would be another 20.00. We think we were the only tourists in the hotel. We got the feeling others might have been living there.

This place needs a total renovation, everything is outdated and smells. totally not worth the money I paid which was $230 something per night. nothing about this place is Paradise Suites as the name suggest. Don't be fooled like I was. This place is probable worth $15 per night. Run Run Run.

Shower in the room did not work, asked for 3 days to be repaired. Bed sheet smelt, dark, tired rooms

The staff at this property were very friendly and helpful. The property definitely needs to be updated, remodeled. The inside appearance was another consider for me.

The location is good but the place needs remodeling. The building is old. Also it’s not located in area as stated on Google maps.

First of all I didn’t like the fact they were trying to charge me more than what I saw it for on Expedia.

Then I went to shower I found hair in the shower,
So the room wasn’t properly clean.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to no one until they upgrade their rooms and service.

Staff were so friendly and nice! They’re a bit under construction right now, but the location is so convenient and you get exactly what you ask for. Also, water is free!

For the price, near downtown and walkable to ports.
