Nibbana Mirissa Hotel

This is a little oasis away from the main buzz of Mirissa but still in walking distance to the beaches of the town. Beautiful, relaxing garden with small pool, big rooms with everything you need and fantastic staff. All staff was super friendly! In particular the hotel owner, nicknamed the captain, was super helpful, well organized, very generous and also helped arranging our whale watching trip (went with Eagle Eye). He has great advice for the whole area. And he even invited us to his home to celebrate New Years with his family. Thanks again Captain for this unforgettable experience!

Bij ontvangst direct geholpen met de koffers naar binnen. Heel vriendelijk personeel die je helpt met alles. Ze gaven advies wat we kunnen doen en regelen ook de uitjes. Zoals de whale watching en het vervoer volgens eerlijke prijs. De laatste dag werd er zelf een heel ontbijt op maat gemaakt voor ons. Het hotel is goed onderhouden en wordt elke dag schoon gemaakt. Het stand erachter is mooi om zonsondergang te zien. Mirissa centrum en beach kan je beter met de tuk tuk doen.

Beautiful place very quiet, out of the hustle and bustle of mirissa , the staff were great especially captain, he could not be more helpful . An absolute legend.. loved our stay at Nibbana..

The hotel is perfectly located in a very nice part of Mirissa, away from the hustle, noise, and crowds, which makes it a very safe and peaceful place. The rooms are clean and spacious; we had a room with direct access to the swimming pool. Stylish furniture and a beautifully maintained garden add to the charm of the property.
The service and staff are outstanding, especially Niahantha — extremely kind, friendly, and talkative. He prepared delicious welcome juices for us and was always ready to help with anything. We truly wish there were more people like him. He even arranged a tuk-tuk for us on our first evening.
The owner is also wonderful, regularly checking whether guests are satisfied and if they need anything. Coffee is served in a beautiful teapot — aromatic and perfectly paired with a freshly prepared Sri Lankan omelette and toast. Of course, there are also other breakfast options available.
In the evening, the pool and garden are beautifully lit, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. We really enjoyed spending time there — it’s a pity we stayed only two nights.

The garden and proximity from the beach for the sunset were lovely. The staff was adorable and very helpful. The breakfast and welcoming drink were very appreciated.
