Room and bedding could be cleaner - old blood on the sheets and un flushed tissue in the toilet.
Large comfortable room, well kitted out. Handy location to walk into central Swansea
Breakfast was awful. Orange juice watered down so much it was undrinkable. Sausages and eggs pallid. Coffee and toast were the only really edible things.
I want a full refund, the air conditioning was broken and it was 27 degrees in our room..

Diring my visit the weather eas very hot. Unfortunetly the air conditioning had broken down. As a result my room on the 4th floor was unbearably hot. I was given a portable fan but the flex was very short and its benifit was limited as it didn’t reach the bed. As a result, I decided to curtail my visit and left after one night. I must add however, that the staff were very aplogetic, and on my return home i was contacted by the manager who offered me a partial refund, which I have accepted.

Front facing room that was like an oven. No air con in the entirety of the hotel. There was a fan that did a poor job of circling the hot air

No air-conditioning in the room the breakfast was terrible. The food was overpriced in the bar drinks were overpriced in the bar.
The hotel's air conditioning was not working, windows were unable to be opened fully due to restrictions- staff rude and were not sympathetic. No fridge in room to keep drinks and food cold.

Signs of animals been in the room - I have allergies to animals and signs of dog hairs - don’t think village inn allowed animals - next time I shall

Clean and generally comfortable hotel in convenient location (near marina bars and restaurants). Car park with EV. Dog free. Friendly staff and decent breakfast and bar.
Aircon not functioning and although there was a fan in our room, the room was unbearably hot. If it hadn’t been for that, I probably would have rated it slightly higher because overall, the hotel is fine. I would use again but preferably not in hot weather

Paid for an upgraded room which we were really happy with but the air con didn’t work so we then got moved to a different room which wasn’t as nice, didn’t have a sofa and had two beds pushed together

The swimming pool/ spa facilities were nice. The rooms were spacious. Staff were friendly.
So we stayed for 2 nights and did not get room service even once. I put out the make my room door tag when I headed out the first morning but when I came back the room was still a mess. Complained about it to staff and they said we need to leave the door tag the night before, even though no one else had it on when I was walking through. They did offer fresh towels but we were only there for 2 nights and was never told of this rule to leave out the door tag the night before.
We were there for our anniversary, and I had requested for some decorations to be setup (at and extra charge which I was happy to pay) but when we got there, the room just had a card, no decorations. So again was quite disappointed.
