We had a very pleasant stay. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Really good leisure facilities which we took advantage of. Very nice breakfast. Would gladly book again.
Not much, if I'm being really picky, the bar area could have had more comfortable seating. Not really a problem though.
Nice location, slight walk away from Swansea centre so it's not noisy, now located in a quiet residential area (residential area has been built up around it since it was built).
I feel the check in process is quite detached from a customer/hotel personal interaction it once used to have.
Almost like a fast food restaurant, go to the screen and order.. pretty much the same, go to the screen to check in, quite impersonal. We used to really like the Village hotel brand, but it's seems they have changed, downgraded and lost its touch.
Room smelled of cigarette smoke, or this could be from people smoking outside the front door and it wafting up into the rooms, eitherway not nice for those that don't smoke.

Bed was comfortable and bathroom was huge!
The only thing that made my stay poor was that the room was absolutely boiling hot. I couldn't move the thermostat past 16c, and was unable to open the window due to being on the 2nd floor (flat roof).
I was also next to the gym and the music was so loud from about 7am onwards, from the fitness classes taking place.
Breakfast could be better. All the hot food cleared away before 0900
