Noisy guests above my room,hardly slept.
Cons:

So much noise from guests above,constantly banging on floor ,heavy feet,,and dropping items on floor,noise was un bearable,hardly slept,was glad to leave in the morning,very dis appointed.

A really good one night stay with a minimum of fuss.
Pros:

Easy to find and parking was available without problem. Room was very nice, as was the bathroom and all were spotlessly clean which always creates a good impression. The staff we met were all happy and helpful.
We had full English breakfast which was excellent and at a good price.
I would definitely recommend The Claremont to family and friends.

Pros:

Liked the way the owner was ready to help with check-in after hours. Not all venues in remote locations can afford after hours check in. So this was really good on them to accommodate my after hours check-in.

Cons:

There is no lift to the first floor, and doors dont lock automatically. In hindsight, both options may be good for some as it gives them a physical (walking up & down the stairs) and mental exercise (Remember to lock up after you)
