Comfortable but the floors weren’t clean and I had to go and buy a sharp knife to cut bread etc.
Pros:

My room was close the pool but it didn’t look inviting enough to swim in.

Cons:

As an 80 year old woman, I didn’t like having to climb into the spa to have a shower. Not one bar to hold on to. I was scared I was going to slip.

Lovely accomodation in the heart of Port Douglas
Pros:

It was a lovely location, right on the main street in Port Douglas. The room was lovely and comfortable with a nice balcony. There was a nice small pool and sun loungers to enjoy some relaxation.

Enjoyed the reasonable comfort and quiteness.
Pros:

Great location and very quiet. Old building but room very clean. Did not use the pool but clean.

Cons:

I don't think the picture painted by Booking. com was up to what we received. Said we had a view. Had a small balcony completely blocked by solid walls. Underneath parking was ok but difficult to exit as very narrow lead up to the gate. No where to relax outside in tropical surroundings. Only place beside the unshaded pool area.

We really enjoyed staying here. The bed was comfy, the room was lovely, great to swim in the pool and the staff were fri
Pros:

Close to all the shops and restaurants as well as a short walk to the marina or beach. Loved the pool
and the room was just what was needed as we spent most of the day out exploring.

Cons:

The only problem was the annoying light in the tv when it was switched off. We now know why the wall plug was switched off except that was behind the microwave so a bit hard to get to in the middle of the night. 😄

Good location, ask for a ground floor or above room.
