Pros:

Friendly staff, was right on main street, was a good size we had ground floor deluxe? Apt, big bathroom

Cons:

The ground floor apt has stairs going down to it, no view and was a bit dark inside some better lighting would help esp in bedroom area, the pool area is quite small max 4 people at one time, is looking a bit tired in places.There was a hole in ceiling in bathroom poss had been a leak? earlier. I personally wouldn't say this was a 4 star property.

4 night Stay Silkari The Pavillons Port Douglas
Pros:

Unit 110 was amazing newly renovated and clean , comfortable , modern and bathroom was spacious large shower and modern. Balcony had table and sun lounge Location was perfect for walking to Beach or restaurants , large Coles was just a short stroll , parking was easy at premises , staff were so friendly and cheerful and helpful nothing was too much if you needed anything or had questions . For the price it was good value and comfortable as we ate out every night the restaurants were all around us

Cons:

The pool area is a bit dated but very clean we sat there and swam and chatted to people most days. I believe they are looking at updating it soon .

Great location to stay in right in the middle of town and easy walk to everything.
Pros:

Location very good right on the main strip. Staff were great i stupidly left my key in the room after only an hour of being there. I saw the girl down the street after she had finished her shift and she was kind enough to go back and get me another key while i waited. Great service. Price is good probably reflecting the age of the venue but a comfortable bed, a/c that worked and a good enough shower and bathroom

Cons:

Place is old and needs a makeover. TV didnt work in the room but i wasnt there to watch tv so it didnt really bother me.

Pros:

Fantastic location, right in the heart of PD & walking distance to supermarket, shops and restaurants.

Cons:

Walk up units (not fun dragging suitcases up the few flights of stairs. Carpark was extremely tight & full.

Fabulous location to enjoy the treats of beautiful Port Douglas
Pros:

Location was brilliant bang in the middle of town so easy walking access to beach, shops, restaurants, etc.
Our room was very compact n quite noisy, we could hear guests above us using their bathroom. No exhaust fan in our bathroom. Pool although small was fine, ladder needs attention. Staff were very friendly n helpful.

Cons:

Room was too small for us but perhaps that was our own fault for not a thorough investigation

Great location, but rooms a bit tired
Pros:

The location is really convenient for access to the cafes and restaurants on main street

Cons:

The rooms are dated, studio is very small but units with separate bedroom are much more spacious. Pool and pool area is cramped and not sunny. Pool is poorly designed and ladder unsafe. Showers are mostly over bath and had to access for older folk. Baths not usable even as taps not working and no plugs to hold water. Mattresses are rather tired and lumpy.
We had an issue as room wasn't available on arrival day due to a plumbing incident and had to downgrade one day, management said they would compensate some way, but despite a few reminders never bothered to do anything. Just leaves a bad vibe.

Everything. Location… WOW. I had my own little apartment and even cooked a bit !! It really felt like home, loved this hotel so so much. Can’t recommend it enough

We will be back again, hotel, staff, locals and Port Douglas is amazing!
Pros:

It’s was central and on the most vibrant street, short 5 min walk to both marina and beach. Will definitely come back and stay again!

Cons:

The only thing , and it’s not negative, a bathroom upgrade ?
