Shame that when it rained the water ran towards the doors and made deep puddle to try and in and out of door

Lovely apartment but very noisy location which makes it a dealbreaker.
Pros:

The apartment was light and modern, well equipped with lovely dishes and glasses. The bathroom was large with beautiful walk in shower with plentiful hot water, large mirror and washing machine.

Cons:

Unfortunately we didn’t realise when booking that the apartment was adjacent to The Flower of Scotland pub which is open until 03:00 every single day .. the shouting/singing/music was very loud even with the door and windows closed so was unable to get a sleep. It’s a shame as it’s a lovely apartment but due to the noise we will not rebook.
Only other negatives were the kitchen has a fridge only, no small freezer part to keep bag of ice for drinks/ice cream etc., there’s no caretaker on site/nearby to discuss things with.

Avoid if you want to get any sleep before 3am

It was clean and in a good location

Cons:

More expensive than comparable apartments but Advertised as detached but 8 apartments together. Says it’s soundproofed but lots of noise from upstairs and local bar which doesn’t finish till 3am. No instructions for WiFi safe or alarm and delays in reply from host. We left early as so noisy but host wasn’t interested in any compensation. Fortunately Booking. Com stepped in

Modern in great location
Pros:

Great location, close to bus station and restaurants. Lovely modern bathroom and great outdoor seating area

Cons:

Had to ask for clean bed linen. Towels, this time were not replaced. I think if staying for more than one week, a weekly clean with a bed linen/towel change and replenish toiletries/rolls.

Nice outdoor terrace and good location, bathroom is lovely

Cons:

Looking a lot more tired compared to the photos. Sofa grubby, walls very scuffed, curtains dirty, bed sheet did not fit the bed, kitchen amenities lacked if yo want to eat/ drink at the apartment, no dish soup to wash pots

Excellent value for money in a great location.
Pros:

Location is great, apartment was quite spacious, well equipped and very clean. Overall value for money was excellent. Other reviews have mentioned the noise - we stayed over a weekend including Friday and Saturday nights and there was virtually no noise from the nearby bars. Certainly nothing that would keep anyone awake.

Cons:

The only complaint was that the sheet didn't quite fit the very deep mattress so it kept slipping off - could be easily rectified by the hosts. And be aware that communication with the hosts is very minimal. Entry instructions were texted at the check in time and otherwise no communication at all including on check out. WiFi as others have mentioned is patchy. It's more like airport WiFi - fine for checking messages but not suitable for streaming.
