Clean bare bones budget hotel near downtown Milwaukee
Pros:

Little old hotel that is still trying. The lady at check-in was very nice. Everything was clean. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. The location was convenient to my visit to Summerfest. Very reasonable price.

Cons:

A bit noisy at times. The walls are thin, but it is an old building. At 2am a neighbor took a shower and the water pipes were incredibly loud.

Pros:

It was a bargain! Simple, comfortable, peaceful. Was here for a short 1 night stay to see a ballgame. Manager was extremely accommodating and helpful.

good stay
Pros:

the room itself is clean and smells normal. The front desk lady was nice. Bed was comfy, overall good stay. It is walkable to the Domes and Antique store. room has a fridge and microwave and TV

Budget, friendly staff, check in and check out was easy.
Pros:

It was very safe to get in. You need a reservation to enter.

Cons:

The location, it isn't the safest but the way the building is with only a reservation or a key to get in, gave me a peace of mind.

Inexpensive relative to what else was available, and did what we needed it to do.
Pros:

Price and proximity to Summerfest (by car). Hard to rate this place because it depends what you r looking for, hence the 6.0. If u r looking for a luxury stay, this is not meant for you. If you are just looking for a place to bed down after walking the cement at Summerfest all day, then this can work for you. The bed was comfy, the ac worked, and Cheri the manager was friendly and accommodating. So it worked well for us.

Cons:

I coulda used a towel rack in the bathroom. 😆
