Estancia breve y confortable
Pros:

Lo que más valoro en un hotel es que la habitación sea silenciosa, y se logre la oscuridad absoluta con las persianas para poder descansar. Este hotel cumple perfectamente las expectativas. Es limpio y confortable. El desayuno es abundante .

Price …. Not great on toiletries only body wash in the bathroom…one bottle of water in the room (stayed 4 nights) on the second time of asking got another one .

Lovely clean, modern and secure just inside the old town, and a short walk over the river to the centre of the city and everywhere you might want to visit

Cons:

It was unfortunate we had an issue with the bathroom, but the staff quickly moved us to another room which was fine. So not really a dislike. The only other feedback was in relation to breakfast, which is great if you want a cooked breakfast, but no yogurt or cereal options. I ended up with toast and a croissant each morning.

Noisy exterior rooms

The main problem was the noise. I booked two months in advance and specifically asked for a quiet room. The hotel description also mentions soundproof walls, so I expected the room to be reasonably quiet.

I had booked a superior room with city view and was given a room facing the street. The view was not really the issue, although I was looking straight into another building. The real problem was the noise from outside, which was very loud until late at night: a music festival across the street, music from a bar or restaurant, and even a street musician at times.

When I reminded reception that I had requested a quiet room well in advance, I was told that I had booked an exterior room — apparently the same category that is advertised as “city view”. That felt misleading, especially combined with the claim about soundproof walls.

There was also no fridge in the room, which was inconvenient in warm weather and a bit unusual for this type of hotel.

On the positive side, the staff were friendly and the location is very central and convenient. But if you are sensitive to noise, I would be careful about booking a city-view/exterior room here.

Cons:

The price! Hotels in Bilbao are considerably more expensive than 3 and 4 star hotels beachfront. But you pay for the central location.

Well maintained room with comfortable bed. Taxi ordered by reception was on time and much better that our uber experience.
