Great location and staff. Very helpful staff.

Cons:

Pillows Pillows Pillows! Come on japan hotels get some descent Pillows. In 6 different accommodations the terrible Pillows continued.

Lovely stay in Kyoto.
Pros:

The location was good; within walking distance to bus stop/train. The bathroom in our room was very nice - love that toilet! It was also nice to have access to the light breakfast and laundry facilities.

Cons:

The room was very small but that’s Japan!

Pros:

Excellent female staff member ordered us a cab to the train station. She waited outside with us for almost 15 minutes after the first cab failed to appear. Sorry that I don’t recall her name.
Hotel’s location is perfect for exploring the city.

Enjoyable 6 night stay
Pros:

Great location, an easy 10 minute walk to the main shopping area and to Gion

Staff were helpful and it was clean

Cons:

It was a bit noisy from the nearby main road - cars and motorbikes rather than people

Pros:

As Kyoto itself is kind of overrated, the hotel is also overrated a little bit.
but in overall it was clean calm friendly Kyoto hotel.
Location is good and area is calm and free from tourist crouds.

Cons:

Bathroom door was so thin and light, I was wary careful not to damage it :)

Excellent option for Kyoto
Pros:

An excellent option if you're going to stay in Kyoto for a few days. There is complimentary breakfast. The room was bigger than average, as was the bathroom, and they have washing machines. The staff was superb.
