Pros:

Everything. Sincerely nice and caring staff. Amazing kitchen. Big conveniently arrangewd room and balcony. Nice quiet beach nearby. Amazing value for money

Cons:

Everything was perfect.
Be aware it's 30minutes ride from actual Puerto Galera but this is small price for nice breaches around and quality.

Pros:

Staff were friendly, in constant communication with us regarding our breakfast. Helps us with our transportation and where to go around the area. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Spacious rooms. There's hot water in the bathroom.

Cons:

It was not beach front. You have to walk 3 to 5mins before a decent shore/beach. Store nearby is like 10-15mins walk away. No refrigirator inside the room so you can't stack food or drinks. No remote for the tv and it's outdated. WiFi was supposed to be available but it was not searchable inside the room we were assigned. No chairs or table inside the room.

Nous avons passé une semaine de rêve dans cet hôtel. L’accueil a été absolument formidable et l’expérience a été incroyable du début à la fin. Le personnel est d’une gentillesse rare et facilite toutes vos demandes avec une efficacité remarquable.

À seulement quelques mètres de l’établissement, il y a une petite plage très jolie et très tranquille, parfaite pour se détendre loin de l’agitation.

Si vous souhaitez louer un scooter, ils s’occupent de tout : ils organisent la location pour vous et le scooter vous est livré directement à l’hôtel. Ils vous fournissent également un numéro WhatsApp pour communiquer facilement.

Ils organisent aussi votre trajet depuis le port jusqu’à l’hôtel, ainsi que le retour, ce qui rend l’arrivée et le départ très simples.

La propreté de l’établissement est extrême, absolument irréprochable. Les installations fonctionnent parfaitement et la climatisation est moderne, silencieuse et très agréable.

J’ai pu lire certaines critiques dans d’autres commentaires, mais tout semble avoir été corrigé : les options de petit déjeuner sont désormais variées et très bonnes, et le nettoyage de la chambre a été fait plusieurs fois durant notre séjour. Ils nous demandaient même si nous souhaitions ou non que la chambre soit nettoyée, ce qui est très appréciable.

La nourriture de l’hôtel est délicieuse.
Pour le petit déjeuner, plusieurs options sont proposées : américain, philippin, etc.

Le coin est également idéal pour ceux qui aiment la randonnée ou aller courir.

Une expérience vraiment exceptionnelle. Nous recommandons cet hôtel à 100 % !

Very relaxing
Pros:

We had such a lovely experience during our stay! The staff were warm, friendly, and very accommodating from start to finish. Our room was spacious at 60 sqm, spotless, and offered a stunning view of the beach—definitely a highlight for us.

While enjoying the beach, one staff member kindly approached us and offered snorkeling goggles, and their lifeguard stayed nearby to watch over us due to the big waves. We truly appreciated the extra care and attention to our safety.

Pros:

The staff were lovely and very helpful. They organised motorbikes for us and a tuk tuk back to the ferry and also carried our luggage all the way up to our room. The room was a very good size, a nice balcony (on which they allowed us to smoke). Very very clean. Great aircon. Great customer service (which we had not experienced yet in The Philippines)

Cons:

A small little wish is for the beds to be a little bit bigger. But overall is not a big problem as the beds were still comfortable. Perhaps some little soap in the rooms too?

The staff and rooms are great
Pros:

The staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The food is nice, well presented and decent value for money (we had the complementary breakfast twice and paid to eat Japanese food in the evening twice). The rooms are well appointed and immaculately clean, actually nicer than the pricier Sunset at Aninuan.

Cons:

Poor sound proofing - this is by far the main problem with the place. Everyone seems to own a rooster around here, and possibly half the roosters own another rooster.

On top of that, the Bamboo House resort next door hosted a loud wedding from 4pm to 2am one of the two nights we were there (LOUD dance music and strobe lights). We may have just been unfortunate with the timing of our booking as I have no idea how often this happens (it was a Monday night). For the money it would be a 10/10 if it had better sound proofing, and I would have scored lower on this occasion if it wasn't for the staff being so nice.

There's no direct beach access, but it's only a very short walk to Luca's Italian restaurant and there's beach access there (and good pizza), so this is quite a minor problem.

Wonderful people in a nice cosy town

Spacious room with beautiful view. The breakfast is delicious. The people do everything tp make your stay comfortable and are super kind. Higjly reccomend

Cons:

I know they mean well, and I feel like a difficult guest, but for some strange reason this seems to be a practice all over the Philippines: I I have a hard time understanding why they would expose the guests to stinky polluting toxic air fresheners (4of them in our room) and lots of headache inducing perfume sprayed all over the sheets. I did get unscented sheets when I asked. We came a long way to smell nature, fresh air, the ocean and the rain. I hope for the health of guest and for the environment this useless poisonous practice stops.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Minshuku KCS Hotel and Restaurant. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by very kind, polite, and hospitable employees who made us feel right at home. Their exceptional customer service truly made a difference throughout our stay.

The hotel offers delicious food, with a variety of tasty options at an affordable price. The menu is reasonably priced, making it a great value for the quality of food served. The free breakfast was a pleasant surprise, and it was the perfect way to start our day.

The location of the hotel is in a quiet area, which made it an ideal place for total relaxation. We were able to enjoy some peace and quiet, surrounded by beautiful natural surroundings, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle.

Our room was spacious, well-maintained, and clean—everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Additionally, the hotel offers laundry services at a very cheap price, which was incredibly convenient.

One of the highlights of our experience was the reliable service provided by the hotel’s staff. We ventured to a very far location, and our knowledgeable driver went above and beyond by not only ensuring a smooth and safe journey, but also serving as our tour guide along the way. His insights into the area and local culture made the trip even more enjoyable, and his attentiveness and care made us feel completely at ease.

We also had the joy of celebrating New Year with the wonderful staff. It felt like a warm home away from home, as everyone joined in the festivities and made the occasion extra special.

When we requested a dinner at the viewing deck, the staff went above and beyond to make it an awesome dining experience. They served our food and made sure to stay nearby to check if we needed anything, ensuring we had everything we wanted. Their thoughtful and attentive service made the meal even more memorable.
