We had a wonderful stay at Petit Bali. The hotel has a unique, relaxing atmosphere that feels very different from a typical city hotel. The decor is warm and detailed, and you can tell a lot of thought went into creating a comfortable, peaceful space.
The room was clean, well maintained, and surprisingly spacious. The amenities were generous and thoughtful, which made the stay feel even more special. The staff was kind and welcoming, and everything was smooth from check in to check out.
The location was convenient for exploring the area, and after a full day out, it was really nice to come back to such a cozy and calming environment. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for something a little more charming and memorable than a standard hotel experience.

Nothing in particular, maybe the coffee and soda machine at the reception, all with terrible tastes either way.
The room was awful, noisy, small, saw a rat just in front of the main entrance of the hotel (just like all around the neighborhood),.
There is actually nothing that resembles like a breakfast in this hotel, just one type of clear soup as "cooked" food, and croissants wrapped in plastics, no fruits or vegetables of any kind...and making a coffee is manual work - looks good in theory but it actually takes you 15 min to grind the coffee manually, and the taste is awful in any case...

Accidentally booked a smoking room and the smell was very strong but an accident on my part.
My grandmothers ring was left in the room after check out and when we returned later looking for it, it was no where to be seen. There is no other place the ring could be, i have photos of myself wearing the ring right before the hotel stay and then not in the morning at the hotel breakfast.
Staff were helpful in looking but sadly no luck, most likely it was taken. Additionally a bag of presents was ‘lost’ as well

My boyfriend and I stayed here for the first 3 nights of our trip. The staff was very nice and checking in was easy. The hotel is so ornate with beautiful dark wood. It felt like we were stepping into a spa. Our room was small but that was already expected but honestly was big enough for us! We only had carry-ons. The AC in the room works very well. The room was clean and the bathroom amenities were great. The only interesting thing is that you need to give them your room key whenever you leave and they give it right back to you when you come back. We thought that was weird but we got used to it! It was nice having free breakfast in their lounge area (which is open 24/7). Great coffee and tea options. Oh also, there were free spirits and wine which was a nice surprise! We mainly booked this hotel because of the location. We were walking distance to memory lane, Golden Gai, a beautiful park/gardens, and many restaurants. We walked everywhere and hardly used public transportation. So much great stuff around this hotel.
There was a slight mildew smell in the room, which was taken away by turning on the air filter and AC. The shower and tub could have used a shower curtain or something to block water from going everywhere. It was difficult to take a shower because water would splash outside the tub and there is a crack between the tub and the wall which is where the mildew smell comes from I think. They need to seal that or something.
