Luxury in the Kalahari
Pros:

Bagatelle is an exception destination, with a wide variety of accommodation options and great central facilities. Although obviously commercial, there is an unusual mix of "pets" around the central lodge, Bobby the kudu who enjoys afternoon tea biscuits, the zebra who prefers hanging out with the donkeys to its own kind, the meerkats, the ostriches, the geese, all just mixing with the guests. There are a number of excursion options, with lots of different wildlife to experience. The rooms are very comfortable and of good size, while the food is really good.

Cons:

As African tourists who were finishing a 9 week trip, we found Bagatelle too "commercial" for our taste, but obviously pitched for foreign tourists with limited African experience, for whom, I am sure, it would be a perfect experience.

Super Lage, sehr schön

Cons:

Essen wird von der Lodge geliefert. Sollte um 19:00 beginnen und wird dann erst um 20:30 gebracht. Das geht mit Kindern überhaupt nicht

Sehr private, schöne und einzigartige Unterkunft!
Pros:

Super schöne Unterkunft mit tollen Game Drive Ausflügen! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten eine einzigartige Zeit! Wir alle fanden das Farmhaus schöner als die andere Seite und waren froh, hier die Zimmer gehabt zu haben.

Magisch pareltje in de Kalahari woestijn
Pros:

Een pareltje in de Kalahari woestijn. Wij hadden een prachtige kamer. Bij aankomst werden we heel hartelijk ontvangen. Het diner was super, met zich op het zwembad en een waterhole.
Indien je op zoek bent naar rust, ben je hier op de juiste plaats. Je hebt game drives waar je aan kan deelnemen en je kan te voet het gebied verkennen. Wij hadden het geluk op pad te kunnen gaan met 7 giraffen, dit was magisch.

Cons:

Niets, kan het alleen maar aanbevelen

Super Lodge mit allem, was man sich so wünschst! Allerdings fanden wir den Preis sehr hoch!
Pros:

Die Lodge war unser erster Aufenthalt nach der Ankunft. Die Zimmer und die Verpflegung waren einfach traumhaft. Wir haben unser super wohl gefühlt!
Wir haben am Nature Drive mit anschließendem Sundowner teilgenommen. Das war ein super Einstieg in unsere Rundreise durch dieses tolle Land.

Prachtige lodge maar prijzig
Pros:

De kamers waren heel mooi en comfortabel en het eten het beste dat we kregen in Namibië. We deden de cheeta feeding en het paardrijden en beide waren geweldig.

Cons:

We arriveerden rond 14u en kregen te horen dat lunch niet meer mogelijk was (tot 14u). Na enig aandringen konden we gelukkig toch nog iets kleins bestellen maar dit kwam niet erg klantvriendelijk over. We hadden op voorhand de star gazing geboekt maar dit ging niet door omdat de astronoom er niet was.

Aanrader voor als je in Kalahari verblijft
Pros:

Het vriendelijke personeel staat altijd voor je klaar. Het eten vonden we lekker, de ruimte in de kamer vonden we geweldig. Ons bed was groot. Hoewel onze kamer dicht op de algemene ruimte zat, hadden we daar niet zo veel last van. Farmhouse is onderdeel van het grotere Game Lodge. Wij waren erg blij dat we in het (kleinere) Farmhouse zaten omdat het persoonlijker was naar onze mening. Je doet alle activiteiten bij dat grotere Game Lodge, waar je door het personeel naartoe wordt gereden. Je wordt onthaald met een glas moesserende wijn of non-alcoholisch drankje. Voor onze honeymoon lag er wat extra's klaar: werkelijk fantastisch! Echt een aanrader.

Cons:

De ruimte bij het zwembad is misschien wat klein (er zijn maar 4 of 5 bedjes voor het gehele Farmhouse), en het zwembad is koud. Maar goed, dit zijn echt kleine punten en we waren daar ook in de winterperiode. Dit heeft ons eigenlijk niet gestoord en in het algemeen waren we heel blij met ons verblijf.

Great - Farmhouse much better than Lodge if you want something more discrete and bespoke
Pros:

MUCH Quieter than the Ranch

Cons:

Bushman walk was very commercialised. I would’ve rather that it was presented as an introduction to the history of the bushman, understanding that their nomadic lifestyle is now pretty much extinct, rather than to somehow pretend that they were still living that way today

Beautiful location but not good value for money
Pros:

Great location, amazing views, very good food, great nature drive/cheetah feeding/sundowner

Cons:

Rooms on the pictures don’t always show the Farmhouse, but the Game Ranch, which is very misleading. Some of the standard rooms are noisy (close to the reception / eating area). Pressure of the shower is very low, hot water takes 10 minutes, issues with electricity outages.

Pros:

Food was good, location was good.

Cons:

Staff not suffiently trained for a luxury lodge experience. Service at meal time also very slow - some of the tables were also not fully setup at the time service was supposed to start. Access road to property also not accessable for non 4x4 vechicles - I did not see a warning regarding this at the time of booking - we fortunately did had a 4x4 but it will be very problematic if guest do not had a 4x4

Beautiful place!
Pros:

We loved every moment from arrival to departure. All the members of the staff were very welcoming and took a good care of our group. We were served delicious dinner, very good breakfast.
The view was beautiful. Accommodation lodges are huge, luxury and comfortable.
Highly recommend.

Cons:

We stayed only 1 nights, place deserves longer stay.
I regret not going to see cheetahs, this was our only chance to see them, because we have not met them even in Etosha.
