Good location
Pros:

The hotel is in a very good central location, making it convenient for exploring Kathmandu. The room itself was very nice, comfortable and well presented, and overall I was happy with the accommodation.

However, I was disappointed with the level of service in some areas. In my opinion, some members of staff would benefit from additional hospitality training. I reported to Reception on two separate occasions that the body wash dispenser in my room was not working correctly and asked for it to be replaced. Unfortunately, despite these requests, the issue was still not dealt with after a week.

The staff on the 7th-floor restaurant/ breakfast were very courteous and polite, which I appreciated. However, the service was sometimes very slow and unresponsive. On several occasions, I found myself waiting around five minutes simply to get someone’s attention.

Overall, the hotel itself is very nice, the rooms are good and the location is excellent. However, for a hotel of this standard, I believe the attention to detail, responsiveness and consistency of customer service need improvement.

With some additional staff training and better follow-up on guest requests, I believe Hotel Barahi could provide a much stronger overall experience

Excellent
Pros:

Hotel is in a great location, lovely views from the restaurant. Room was very spacious, modern and clean. The breakfast was excellent, lots of options and everything was delicious. The staff were so nice and friendly.

Pros:

Localização excelente ao lado doThamel, ponto de compras e gastronomia de Kathmandu. Em 5 minutos de caminhada já está dentro do bairro. O café da manhã do hotel é muito bom. Variedade de alimentos, variando do estilo nepales ao ocidental. Variedades de shots organicos, diversos tipos de pães, comida quente ( arroz, legumes, macarrão, comidas indianas - para o paladar mais oriental) e panquecas e ovos para o paladar ocidental. Equipe muito prestativa e sorridente, O quarto grande com ar condicionado, iluminação diferenciada. TV grande com diversos canais e uma cama king muito confortável. O banheiro grande com chuveiro quente e água abundante.

Cons:

Só como uma observação: O banheiro não tem box, apenas um vidro que não é sificiente para conter a água do chuveiro e temos um piso um pouco molhado. Mas é apenas um detalhe.

Great hotel, good location.
Pros:

Good location, just opposite the Garden of Dreams, and easily walkable to some great local restaurants in Thamel.
Room was big, spacey, modern and clean. Staff were all very attentive and polite. Lots of choices for breakfast. They even packed you a breakfast pack if you had an early start.
We were there for a family wedding and the staff were so helpful. Big shout out to the lovely Ganga and Pasang who helped the girls tie their sarees for the wedding reception. Pasang really made us feel welcome and checked we had everything we needed for the wedding. Would highly recommend, and come back....which we did after a few days in Pokhara!

Cons:

Prices in the restaurant are quite high, so worth eating out as there are some good bars and restaurants nearby. Use Uber for taxi's as the hotel taxi is very pricey in comparison.
