Good location but very noisy.
Pros:

Location was good. Walking distance to the port.

Cons:

Constant noise even on the 5th floor. 200 meters from the Hospital so Ambulance noise al day every day. The room great the staff great but the noise very bad. The breakfast was very plain.

Overall a nice old hotel that has been updated some. Good value.
Pros:

Friendly staff. Very helpful.

Cons:

Breakfast was very poor, compared to other hotels priced the same. Add omelets, get a new waffle cooker that works I properly, real orange or pineapple juice, instead of some watered down mix. You should never ever run out of bacon, and on't slice Spam and try to pass iit off as ham.

Well located, well run. friendly hotel.
Pros:

Well located comfortable little hotel, friendly staff, sea front within walking distance, market opposite, fridge in room was a big plus, good shower

Cons:

I was in a room with no windows at all, a shame as I was on an upper floor but I didn't let it become a problem.

MAGNIFICENT
Pros:

I absolutely loved the overall experience during our stay. What made it even more special was that this hotel became part of one of the most memorable milestones of our lives, our wedding. From the days of preparation leading up to our wedding until after the celebration, the hotel provided us with a comfortable, welcoming, and wholesome stay that truly exceeded our expectations.

The staff were exceptionally accommodating, courteous, and attentive. Even during the late hours of the night, the security personnel and hotel staff remained alert and readily available to assist guests whenever needed. Their dedication to excellent service did not go unnoticed and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay.

The food was also wonderful. I especially loved the waffles, they were so good that I found myself requesting additional servings, along with extra rice during breakfast. Everything was prepared well and was truly enjoyable.

Because of this wonderful experience, I would gladly choose to stay at this hotel again in the future and would highly recommend it to others. It has become a place that holds special memories for us, and I would love to return for another equally memorable stay.

As a suggestion, it might be worth considering offering a breakfast buffet, particularly when there are enough guests staying at the hotel. A buffet setup based on the number of breakfast guests each day could provide even more variety and flexibility for diners while further enhancing an already excellent experience.

Thank you to the entire team for making our wedding stay such a pleasant and unforgettable one. We look forward to coming back soon.

Cons:

I honestly cannot say anything negative about our stay because everything was simply wonderful. From the rooms and food to the exceptional service, every detail exceeded our expectations. Even my father and uncle were impressed by the hotel's hospitality.

What truly stood out was how attentive and accommodating the staff and security personnel were, even late at night. Their warmth and professionalism made us feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for throughout our stay.

Kudos to the management and the entire team. Thank you for being part of such a special milestone in our lives and for making our wedding stay truly memorable. We look forward to coming back soon.

Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt eine solide Unterkunft
Pros:

Wir hatten ein großes geräumiges Zimmer.
Das Zimmer wurde immer gut gereinigt.

Cons:

Das Frühstück war eher bescheiden. Bestellen konnte man sich nur eine Sache pro Tag und die Portionen waren nicht sonderlich groß. Der Kaffee war furchtbar. Toast, Marmelade und Waffeln standen dauerhaft zur Verfügung.

Wouldn't recommend.
Pros:

The breakfast was fine, similar to others we had in the Philippines. The staff were kind and refunded a second night when we chose not to stay. The location is very central in Dumaguete.

Cons:

We don't have high standards for hotels, but I wouldn't recommend Henia. These two things just added up to an unpleasant atmosphereOur room didn't have a window and it felt pretty claustrophobic. The floor was also really sticky - it didn't feel clean.
