Fantastic location with safe motorcycle parking inside a under the hotel

Tolle Lage und ein Top-Frühstücksbuffet.
Pros:

Sehr gute Lage, direkt an der Donauuferstrasse gelegen, wo die Kreuzfahrtschiffe anlegen, und zugleich über den Hinterausgang im 2. OG fast auf dem Höhenniveau der Kathedrale mit geschätzt 300m Laufweg.
Wenngleich die Einrichtung eher einen älteren Eindruck machte, war alles auf einem sehr guten Niveau.
Dazu zählte auch die gut sortierte TV-Senderauswahl mit vielen internationalen nicht-deutsch sprechenden Senderstationen.
Das Frühstücksbufett war in jeder Hinsicht exzellent: Auswahl und auch Qualität der Speisen waren herausragend.

Cons:

Die Parkgarage ist sehr eng, einparken mit größeren PKWs ist etwas aufwändig.
Parkplatz muß mit der Buchung reserviert werden!

Kurztrip in der Altstadt
Pros:

Aussicht, sauberes Zimmer, Hinterausgang in die Altstadt, Lage: Hotel im Zentrum, vieles zu Fuss erreichbar. Frühstück: Auwahl reichlich.

Cons:

da Fensterseite zu den Bergen auch die Hauptverkehrsader ist - laut wegen Autos bei offenem Fenster!

Mitten in Passau
Pros:

Das Hotel König ist mitten in der passauer Altstadt gelegen. Die Ausstattung ist in die Jahre gekommen aber komfortabel und bequeme Betten. Es war trotz der zentralen Lage ruhig.
Frühstücksbuffet sehr vielfältig. Sehr nettes Personal.

Cons:

Der Zimmerpreis ist hoch, dazu noch 20 Euro für den Parkplatz
