We enjoyed our gig and cycling, the hotel was a nice relaxing place to return to.
Pros:

Good location, spa facilities, friendly staff, nice room, very clean, good breakfast. Buddy the bird!
Included spa - Bad weather insurance!

Cons:

Breakfast coffee was a weak brew. Instant coffee, water and milk would be welcomed by caffeine addicts who need a stronger brew.

Cons:

I was staying for work, so had to leave early. I missed breakfast twice out of three mornings. An earlier breakfast time would be better.
By the time I got back from work the Spa / swimming pool etc. was almost closed. Again, later opening times please.

Comfortable rooms, fast and friendly check in. Great Scottish breakfast
Pros:

Lovely relaxing hotel. Comfortable bed, room spotless.Good outside area to sit.Fast and friendly check in. Second time we have stayed. Vast choice at breakfast, freshly cooked full Scottish breakfast .

Perfect town centre location, lovely breakfast, but room not worth the price.
Pros:

Great location, very helpful reception staff. Breakfast was lovely but waitress quite off putting. Swimming pool area.

Cons:

Old cobwebs & spiders in corners and across wall at headboard, black/mould bits around bath, crack in bath, lots of holes in bathroom wall panels from previous fittings, very old furniture, fittings/bathroom mirror etc. No accessible socket near headboard. No hairdryer. Very rattle windows in the wind. Extremely hard uncomfortable mattress. Could hear the mattress in neighbouring bedroom creak loudly through the wall.
