It was not just a stay , but such a wholesome experience, the staff went out of their way to make our stay so comfortable. The entire property has a personalised touch which is evident in the way the food is served to the taste , to the dealing of the staff with you. The food is all organic homegrown , with recipes curated by the Maharaja himself. Absolutely an amazing experience, worth every penny . No regrets , will definitely come back for more.

Memorable stay!
Pros:

A beautiful hotel set in a mystical place full of history. The staff was very attentive. The views of the river are amazing!
Despite our very late arrival from a long journey, they thoughtfully ensured that dinner was available for us, showing exceptional care and hospitality.

Great location of the property! The staying in the palace itself is an incredible experience. The hotel staff was courteous and helpful. We stayed during the Xmas, they have arranged special meals for this occasion. Their continental as well as Indian spreads were exceptional. We as a family prefer limited but good quality food, they match it at par. Their attention to detail is remarkable—in food, the room decor, handwritten notes, pre-dinner mocktails. They arrange a boat ride in Narmada river and visit to family shiva temple—sipping tea while watching the sun setting, along with the celestial Narmada was a memorable experience we will cherish for a while!

A fantastic property overlooking the Narmada river
Pros:

Everything about the property was fantastic. The feel was extremely homely and welcoming. The meals were extremely well thought out and is not to be missed. For people with pets, the staff and the premises are extremely pet friendly. For those who are spiritual, the ghats and the temple visits are experiences that will stay with you for a long time.

An outstanding stay overall
Pros:

Ahilya place is An excellent luxury property set in a beautiful environment. The staff was extremely courteous and attentive, making us feel genuinely special. The food was great, and the hospitality exceeded expectations.

Cons:

we stayed in a room which was close to the temple and ghats . The views from the room very lovely but due to use of loudspeakers by the temple the room was very noisy .
