From walking through the entrance you're made to feel like a guest, the staff are very friendly and the checking in process was fast.
The building itself is beautiful inside and out, walking through the corridors to our room was very pleasant.
The room itself, considering this was the base level double bed room was great. Lots of space, huge bed, fancy bathroom, decent sized telly, a fridge and an espresso machine, a nice view of the inside courtyard, and all the amenities you'd expect from a hotel.
Myself and my partner only stayed one night, however the night prior we'd visited Adam Reid's The French which is located inside the Midlands which was divine, and the actual bar inside the Midlands was great.
We had come from an event and wanted a nice drink in a quiet bar in Manchester, and due to it being a Friday night we could not find anything. Having returned to the hotel it had dawned on us that this was the ideal place.
We enjoyed a nice drink in a tranquil bar with an excellent selection of cocktails and spirits. Although the bar was actually quite full, it didn't feel so. We were able to converse with one another without raising our voices, which is a rarity in bars I feel.
Ultimately, a very pleasant stay, and I hope to be back again.
The location was excellent, right in the centre of Manchester with Spinningfields just outside, so you are surrounded by a wide choice of restaurants and bars. There is always plenty to see and do.
The hotel itself was impressive. There were some renovations in the lobby, but nothing noisy or disruptive. On arrival, you are greeted at the door, assisted with luggage, and offered refreshments. Check-in was quick and straightforward.
The room met expectations, with plenty of space in both the bedroom and bathroom. The facilities were great, and the Smart TV allowed access to streaming services by signing into your own accounts. We did not use the room service or restaurant, but the menu looked good with a good range of options.
Overall, it was a great stay and I would stay again.
The spa facilities were fully booked and could only be reserved after check-in, operating on a first come, first served basis with a one-hour limit per person. Unfortunately, this meant we were unable to use the spa, which was disappointing as there is no option to book in advance.
Beautiful and clean
Fantastic service from the minute we arrived till we left would highly recommend it.
There was nothing we didn't 👍
Beautiful lobby and lounge
Spa facilities weren’t great … bathroom was so tight and small
Very good location and the Greek guy from the reception was very friendly .
Checking out was terrible and I asked many times for one hour more until 12:00 o’clock but it was rejected unfriendly then it took us like 30 minutes to check out.
