ool could have been cleaner but otherwise it was a nice pool. The grounds were well kept and scenic.
The restaurant food was fair and it wa a bvit difficult finding te place. Signage would help.
Easy stay pre airport departure. We even got to see manatees early in the morning before we headed out from the dock - definitely the highlight.
Beds were harder than we prefer. Bring your bug spray.
Close to the airport.
Outdated, very rustics, beds and showers not comfortable.
The property was well kept, doesn’t look appealing driving up. But once you get beyond the cars parked up front it’s a beautiful place.
Nothing bad to say
Nada un
Desastre
If you're looking for downtime away from town this spot is ideal.
Do the river cruise the resort owner operates. He's funny, chatty, and we saw so many manatees.
If you have an informal vibe about you, the kitchen / restaurant team welcome you like a visiting friend and make sure you're looked after.
If you have tours booked check as most but not all operators pick up from here. Drop offs and pickups from town or airport are available from the resort though.
All round good vibes, I would go back.
If you're vegan (I'm not) your food options will be limited to rice and veg, make sure you check when booking so they have a chance to plan for you in advance.
Meals aren't super cheap but they are good!
Free breakfast was fine. Also could upgrade the breakfast at a reasonable cost.
We loved the location close to the hotel made it easy on our last day to travel to the airport! It had a beautiful pool and hotel grounds! We got free kayak rentals and saw an alligator! The restaurant had amazing food some of the best we had in Belize!
The beds were really hard and thin pillows.
The restaurant and swimming pool are great. I also loved the preserved nature around the hotel. It was great to see the mangrove trees we are not used to see in California.
Basic stove, not enough plates and silverware to cook in the room. We didn't plan for it so it wasn't an issue but it feels half done. The restaurant food is the only option because the hotel is pretty isolated.
Didn't have breakfast since I had to get up early to go to the airport that morning. However, love the chef that served us and everyone else by herself. She was very professional and outstanding customer service. She was by herself and she was able to help every one that kept coming to get something to eat and/or drink. She got some help later but she satisfied a lot us by herself before help arrived. She did all this with a smile on her face the whole time. She should get a raise. Don't remember her name but this was on March 17th night. Good job.
What I didn't like. The price for the room was $269+ US dollars for the night, but the serve was not US service. If you are going to charge US price then please be ready to provide US service with all the amenities that comes with it. The aniance has to reflect US quality and ambiance. Please work on that. It seems like a nice place.
The staff were okay. However, when I called to make the reservation and asked for a shuttle to pick us up from the international airport the agent should have immediately told me that the shuttle cost was our responsibility. That should have been said immediately. Very important. Most hotels over free shuttle to and from the airport. So if you don't offer that then you MUST tell the guest that immediately. What do you think?
I had to learn that after speaking with the other guests.
Complimentary breakfast was delicious
It was delicious, but food pricing is a big high.
It’s tucked away and surrounded by the river, trees, and you we seen a few iguanas.. It has a restaurant connected and additional services you could pay for if needed. (Like a rental car or massage) All of this should be communicated in advance.
The room we booked had some issues. There was a leak from the air conditioning unit that kept me up all night the first night. There was signs to not put any tissue in the toilet but in the trash can for number 1 or 2. I will say the staff immediately responded the issue and moved us to an upgraded room at no additional charge. There was a little miscommunication about final payment but the staff was friendly, present and quickly responded to any issue we had.
Beautiful property
Lots of iguanas
Very run down, needs lots of Maintenance
The pool was great! Good food too.
Advertised as more beach-y but it was more industrial and there are crocodiles so you can't swim.
Close to airport.
Very quiet, walk out to the water, salt water pool onsite things to do (pool table, lounge, reasonable priced massages.
No bottle water in room, no coffee maker. Restaurant prices are high.
The hammocks were comfortable. The office offered a ride service which was convenient. The sunset river cruise offered at the resort was a nice surprise. The staff are very friendly.
More chairs would be nice. I would recommend using mosquito spray when sitting at the outdoor restaurant. The tiny flies have a big bite!
Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and sufficient. Food in restaurant was decent.
Location is a little out of town.
Great staff, very helpful.
Location is a bit out of town.
Close to airport, but they will charge a fortune for taxi. Nice pool. Close to crystal car rental.
The hotel needs a lot of work. Literally everything is falling apart. Horrible breakfast, way too expensive.
