The perfect place to be in Dakhla

Pros:

Dakhla Camp is gelegen aan de Lagoon en dat maakt het een uitstekende locatie voor Kitesurfing and Wing foiling.
De kamers zijn niet groot, maar handig ingericht met veelal uitzicht op het water.

Super vibe, super cadre, super accueil
Pros:

J’ai aimé le cadre, le bungalow simple mais confortable, le camp est verdoyant et la piscine avec le petit bassin était super après le kite. Le personnel toujours très serviable.

Cons:

La nourriture n’était pas varié. J’aurais apprécié un couscous et des desserts plus originaux.
Manque de fruits à tous les repas et surtout au petit déjeuner. J’aurais aimé une option au bar : smoothie

Experience kite marocaine 😍
Pros:

Comme tous les hôtels emplacement proche du lagon,
Le personnel était au petit soin et apportait une vrai touche marocaine, c’est exactement ce que je recherchais, super expérience.

Cons:

Il faudrait un espace un peu plus cosy sous le patio, il n’y a que des tables , des canapés d’angles avec un hamac par exemple ou une chaise suspendue.

Un endroit pour atterrir les kites ou les poser à l’entrée de l’hôtel pourrait être sympa.

They need to prepare a place to pump & deflate kites, would be great to have a dedicated chill zone with pillows, carpets and soft lighting

Belle découverte, spot parfait pour progresser, on reviendra !
Pros:

Personnel et accueil au top, établissement en évolution constante, c’est bien mais espérant que les prix ne s’envolent pas ..petit dej et repas de qualité, la chambre confort avec belle vue, proximité avec l’eau pour le kite ..

Cons:

Manque de navette pour aller en ville, mais on a trouver une solution avec l’accueil .. manque d’une petite bière le soir en rentrant de la journée .. mais on a fait sans et c’était bien !

Bien mais peu mieux faire

L'emplacement près de la lagune

Le grand lit confortable
Le club essaie de s'organiser et de s'améliorer donc on voit l'effort et la bonne volonté mais c'est encore timide ..mais vu le prix cela s'explique.

Cons:

La nourriture !
Pas assez de diversité et de quantité et surtout pas fait pour les gourmands car 1 seul dessert proposé (ex: 1 salade de fruits)
Beaucoup de mouches qui perturbent les repas
Pas de plats locaux Marocains
L'eau et le café sont payants et il n'y a pas d'alcool
Niveau kite : j'avais demandé une sortie downwind jusqu'à la dune blanche ..le moniteur m'a dit qu'il en était prévu 1 par semaine et après 8 jours sur place j'attends toujours et j'ai du m'organiser avec un autre hôtel !
Aucune animation le soir .
Hôtel bien situé petit budget et ne demande qu'à juste kiter en face c'est ok mais si on veut un club quand même avec des prestations où l'on mange bien et de qualité il vaut mieux éviter

A comfy and quiet hotel for some sporting time, without much of a morrocan culture discovery
Pros:

- Kite teachers are super friendly and nice, open to chat about anything and spend some time having fun in the evenings
- Location is nice : the view, walks in a little desert to see The Atlantic ocean with a sunset
- Houses are comfortable, clean
- Plenty of very tasty food, large choices of meal : meat or veggies and olives
- Pool is nice
- Staff speak many languages: French, English, Spanish,...

Cons:

- Staff (outside of the kite teachers) are very formal/a bit cold : Not much of exchanges with them
- Volleyball net is installed everyday but when asked about any ball, I received a sharp and not very nice answer that the field is new and no ball has been bought (yet the net doesnt look new at all..)
- To go to Dakhla city to see something else seems very complicated or pricey (~60€ with a taxi). We had to do hitchhike with local buses and people (moroccans are super friendly and nice so don't be worried).
- 1L of Water is ~4€ at the hotel (???) + you cant drink tap water so look for people bringing you back water from the city
- Only non alcoholic drink available at the bar
- Coffee is only available (even with full inclusive booking) in the morning, else it's between between 2 and 3,5€ the americano
- No discovery of moroccan culture / food.. except the couscous on friday and in the morning but else not much..
