Schönes, sauberes und gut riechendes Homestay in Bukittingi
Pros:

Sehr sauberes und gemütliches Guesthouse in Bukittingi. Die Nachbarschaft ist ruhig und eher in einer lokalen Gegend, was mir sehr gefallen hat. Alles ist sehr sauber und die Betten super bequem. Außerdem riecht alles sehr gut! Ich habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Betreiber sind super nett und helfen bei allen Fragen :) außerdem sind sie immer für einen Plausch zu haben :) die Aussicht auf die Vulkane ist richtig schön und jedes Zimmer hat einen Balkon :)

Cons:

Durch die angrenzende Moschee etwas laut, aber mit ohrstöpseln kein Problem :)

A nice place but hard to find.
Pros:

The room was clean and comfortable. Ade, the manager, was friendly and helpful, even providing a video showing how to take a short cut to the main road through back lanes and a mosque. Location was good, near restaurants and shops. A pleasant environment for a two-night stay.

Cons:

The homestay was hard to find and no one was there when we arrived. We did not know which part of the building was the homestay as there were no signs. Fortunately our bus driver and a passenger who spoke English helped us contact Ade, after several attempts, and stayed with us until he was on his way. After the first night there was no hot and cold drinking water, though it was provided the next evening.

Pros:

Idealnie czysto. Bardzo wygodne łóżko. Blisko centrum (10 minut pieszo). Nowe ręczniki i czysta pościel + szczoteczki i pasta do zębów, a w toalecie jest mydło w płynie. Ogólnie polecam.

Cons:

Brak prysznica, toaleta "na skoczka", ale to malutki minus. Wymień poduszki.

Superb
Pros:

Very clean, new and comfortable. Only 10/15 minute walk to the centre (clock tower). The host and her children really were the highlight of our stay; making sure we were cared for and recommended things to do. As non-muslims, we felt very very welcomed.

Cons:

If you are a non-muslim, please be aware that you will be awoken by the mosque next door at 4 am. Morning prayer will start from 4 am until about 6 am. This is not just this homestay, this is across the whole Bukittinggi. No shower head but not a big issue as you can use the bucket to wash.
