Magnifiques chambres, mais une gestion administrative décevante.
Pros:

Les chambres sont très belles, spacieuses, confortables, parfaitement propres et décorées avec beaucoup de goût. L’emplacement en bord de mer est agréable. Le personnel du bar, du restaurant et de la plage a toujours été sympathique, accueillant et professionnel.

Cons:

Mon principal point négatif concerne cependant le manque de transparence concernant certains frais. Malgré une réservation indiquant que le montant total était payé avec la mention « Taxes et frais compris », une préautorisation supplémentaire de 1 982,64 MXN m’a été demandée à l’arrivée, avec des explications qui ont varié au cours de mon séjour. Malgré plusieurs demandes, je n’ai jamais reçu les justificatifs détaillés ni les références légales annoncées. Même après l’intervention du service client de Booking.com, l’établissement n’a pas répondu à mes demandes. La préautorisation a finalement été annulée, mais cette gestion a malheureusement terni une expérience qui aurait pu être très agréable.

Prachtige plek met uniek concept
Pros:

Personeel zeer vriendelijk, eten (à la carte) zeer goed, bar heel gezellig, strand zeer mooi (algen zijn een probleem, maar daar kan het hotel niets aan doen). De kamers, in een soort van boomhutten, zijn uniek en feeëriek. Er is aan alles gedacht, zelfs aan een voetbadje voor je trap naar je hotelkamer om het zand van de je voeten te spoelen. Heel het hotel bevindt zich in wit zand, zodat je overal op je blote voeten heen kan, instant vakantie gevoel. Op het strand genoeg schaduwplekken gecreëerd, dus keuze genoeg. Het zwembadje is ook heel fijn en kraaknet.

Cons:

De massage van de mannelijke masseur viel tegen; hij gaf de massage die hij zelf wilde (Maya-massage) en begon zowel mijn zoon als mij te kraken terwijl we dat helemaal niet gevraagd hadden, we wilden een relaxing massage waar kraken niet bij hoort en overigens laten we dat liever doen door onze eigen zorgverstrekkers en niet door een masseur van wie we niet weten welke opleidingen hij al dan niet heeft gevolgd daarvoor. Zijn massage was ook erg hard ondanks herhaaldelijke verzoeken om het zachter te houden. Kortom: een "relaxing" massage was dit niet. Hij vroeg na afloop herhaaldelijk om een tip in cash geld, en had op de bon een hogere prijs gezet dan diegene die op de voucher van het hotel staat (het hotel heeft dit wel rechtgezet). De vrouwelijke masseur is wel goed en doet wel wat verwacht wordt. Tip: vraag uitdrukkelijk om de vrouwelijke masseur. Voor het overige geen klachten, prachtige plek!

Super chill
Pros:

Fantastico soggiorno in una camera che sembrava una casa sull'albero. L'ambientazione è curata nei minimi dettagli a livello ecologico e il personale assolutamente gentile e disponibile.
Siamo riusciti anche ad assistere in notturna alla deposizione di uova sulla spiaggia da parte di una tartaruga marina: impagabile!

Cons:

La presenza di sargasso sulla spiaggia che ha reso il mare impraticabile, ma è un problema naturale che affligge tutta la costa.

Perfect location, service, and tulum vibe
Pros:

Truly incredible stay. The staff were so amazing, I was treated how I imagine celebrities must be when they travel. The rooms were gorgeous, the coffee, cookies, water and towels were beautiful touches, and I loved the proximity to the beach and restaurants. For the value we were able to see the town and eat at excellent restaurants and still spend less than an all inclusive.

Cons:

It was perfect. If I had to change anything I would ask for 1) curtains, so I didn’t have to choose between sunlight and privacy 2) a fridge for leftovers and keeping water cold 3) a handheld shower head because I did struggle to wash my hair with the rain shower. But honestly these aren’t event complaints, I had a wonderful time

A wonderful hotel where the staff make all the difference
Pros:

This was the second hotel we stayed in while visiting Mexico. The setting is phenomenal and its beach side location seems to be the only place that seaweed doesn’t accumulate - a nice nature-provided perk.
However, it’s the staff which made the difference here. One of our group unfortunately sprained their foot on Tulum’s ‘footpaths’ and required hospital attention. The staff were absolutely phenomenal, quickly providing ice, calling a clinic and organising a taxi to take us there. Luckily the injury wasn’t as severe as initially thought - however we were so indebted to the staff during our stay. They followed up with us multiple times during our stay to ensure we were ok.
We’ll never forget the kindness and care provided to us.

Cons:

The hotel is beautiful with a stunning setting. However there isn’t much of an atmosphere in the evenings, the bar is empty and not many stay around.
That’s not for want of trying, on the hotels part, as they regularly organise events (check their insta for info).
The location means that you’ll inevitably hear heavy base music from a nearby restaurant/bar. We found that it quickly became a background hum as the week went on - but if you like your sleep perhaps ask for a beach side room.

Relaxing resort with VIP service.
Pros:

From the moment you arrive, the staff make you feel incredibly welcome and truly special — the delicious welcome drink is a lovely touch.

The resort itself is stunning, with a lush, jungle-like atmosphere that makes it feel peaceful and immersive. The rooms are beautifully designed, very comfortable, and stocked with organic toiletries, along with thoughtful extras like a beach bag and reusable water bottle.

Both the pool and beach areas are absolutely beautiful, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The temazcal experience is a must-try and really adds something unique to your stay.

The staff consistently go above and beyond, always friendly and attentive. One of our favourite moments was enjoying morning coffee while watching woodpeckers nearby — such a special experience.

There are also plenty of great options nearby for food and drinks in the evening, while breakfast at the hotel itself is excellent.
