Affordable and practical
Pros:

The stuff and the owner were very friendly, the breakfast was decent, the room was warm, it provided what was in the description.

Cons:

If I were to rate this place regardless of the price, it would probably be a 4/10. The building is quite dated and clearly needs renovation, the breakfast is repetitive with limited options, and the room could have been warmer during late February evenings. However, looking at the bigger picture:

Exceptional Hospitality: The owner, Oktay, is a fantastic host who speaks English fluently. He is incredibly kind and helpful, making you feel like a guest in his own home—he even lent me an umbrella when it rained and let me store my luggage until my flight.

Prime Location: It’s perfectly situated near the Çemberlitaş tram stop, with plenty of shops and restaurants right at your doorstep.

Unbeatable Value: This is a very budget-friendly option. If you just need a bed and a shower while spending your entire day exploring the city, it’s an ideal choice.

Extra Perks: There is a lovely terrace with views of the Bosphorus and the Sea of Marmara, plus free tea available at reception.

I don’t understand people complaining because they expected luxury. This is a budget stay, and evaluating it within that category, it’s a solid 10/10.

A fair bargain. I do recommend!
Pros:

Excellent location, very close to the T1 tram station, the bazaar. The area is quite clean, adequately lit. The manager's attitude was very cooperative, friendly and also helpful. I benefited from a free upgrade to a double room. My room was on the 1st floor, not very big, very clean, equipped with TV, air conditioning, a clean mini-fridge, good WiFi. I don't remember seeing a passenger elevator. The room has new furniture. There is a breakfast option, but I didn't use it. During the day, guests have free instant coffee and tea. Free luggage storage at property.

Cons:

The room's walls and installations require some renovations.

Sentirsi come a casa 🏠
Pros:

Ambiente informale e molto accogliente. In una zona molto tranquilla. Ottavio si è dimostrato un ottimo anfitrione, pronto a dare consigli e info su come muoversi, come ottimizzare il tempo di permanenza a Istanbul. Ambiente datato ma molto pulito, lo staff sempre gentile e disponibile. Colazione a buffet buona e abbondante. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Tive problemas com o transfer oferecido,, como estava em trânsito do Irã para lá, só recebi mensagens de orientação, quando já estava dentro de um táxi, ao qual fui obrigada a recorrer por estar com mobilidade reduzida.
Quero fazer uma observação aos turistas que utilizam táxi em Istambul: Estava vindo de um país com povo honesto como o do Irã..
Já havia feito pesquisas sobre custos do percurso, em torno de 50 a 60 euros, o táxi cobrou um preço extorsivo de 170 euros, me recusei a pagar, notadamente um golpe, quando foi citada a palavra polícia, começou a negociação e mesmo assim paguei 100 dólares.
Outro ponto,o preço através do hotel para minha volta ao aeroporto era 40 euros, foi exigido em euros, meu alerta é que paguem exatamente 40 euros ,dei uma nota de 50 euros, não recebi troco e nem tive com o que pagar um carrinho para me ajudar com mas malas.Esse alerta é para quem quer maior conforto, e o importante é que se você pensa que com mais pessoas você dividirá o custos,esquece, é cobrado por pessoa e número de malas, sempre darão um jeito para surpreende e dar o golpe
I had problems with the transfer offered. As I was in transit from Iran, I only received guidance messages when I was already inside a taxi, which I was forced to use because of my reduced mobility.
I want to make an observation to tourists who use taxis in Istanbul: I was coming from a country with honest people like Iran.
I had already researched the cost of the trip, around 50 to 60 euros, but the taxi charged an extortionate price of 170 euros. I refused to pay, clearly a scam, and when the word "police" was mentioned, the negotiation began, and even then I paid 100 dollars.

Another point: the price quoted by the hotel for my return trip to the airport was 40 euros, demanded in euros. My warning is to pay exactly 40 euros. I gave a 50 euro note, received no change, and had nothing to pay for a cart to help with my luggage.

Pros:

Everything is perfect.
Hotel owner allows me to early check in. This is so helpful that I could take test after midnight fright. Room is spacious and comfortable. Hot water comes out very quickly. Breakfast service is amazing. You can have breakfast with high quality of coffee. Location is convenient to access tram and go directly blue mosque on foot.

Great hotel in the city centre with an amazing view from the terrace
Pros:

The location is amazing. The hotel is in the very city centre and there is a tram stop near by. The staff is realy kind. The breakfast has many options and after it you might not even need lunch :D Also there is a terrace with a great view and tea and coffee are always available free of charge.

Cons:

There is no elevator in the hotel and the shower in my room was a bit small.

Il proprietario è accogliente e molto premuroso, colazione anche per chi è celiaco
Pros:

La terrazza sopra merita più di tutto.
C'è sempre possibilità di bevande calde sia all'ingresso che in terrazza.
La struttura avrebbe bisogno di essere abbellita, lo stile rispecchia la cultura turca.

Cons:

Troppa moquette, sia in camera che tutte le scale.
