C’est un excellent qualité /prix , j avais choisi cet hôtel pour l emplacement, et les bons commentaires sur le confort des lits et le peu de bruit Verdict notre famille de 5 a été très contente. Le wifi a bien fonctionné. On n entend pas les multiples mosquées Le frigo ne fait pas de bruit. En haut il y a plein de canapés à disposition et une terrasse En plus le gérant est très chaleureux et a géré la réservation de taxi pour l aéroport a bon prix
Les photos reflètent l hôtel ce n’est pas le plus beau ni le plus moderne mais c’est propre et fonctionnel. Pour le rapport qualité prix on a été satisfait
I worked remotely on my computer for a week and a half at Oktay’s hotel. I had an excellent time. The breakfast was incredible every morning, the hotel facilities were great and the staff were very friendly! I would definitely recommend Oktay’s hotel!

It’s an older building but the upkeep by the staff is excellent.
Oktay was a great host, I couldn't find a time during the days of my stay when he wasn't available in person at the front desk, let it be early morning or late at night, always smiling and being friendly. The whole staff was absolutely professional, nice and welcoming, it felt almost like a family business, they were so kind. The hotel is very close to tram line #1, only a few minutes of walk so it's easy to get basically anywhere in town.
The room itself was totally ok for what it was, anyone complaining about the size of the room or anything should be mistaking the place with much more expensive hotels. For the price, it's not only ok but exceptionally good, situated in the middle of Istanbul old town, within walking distance of Blue Mosque, Ayasofia and Sultanahmet or the Grand Bazaar, it's absolutely worth booking a room here if you need a place to rest for the night and exploring the city during the day. The bed is really comfortable and everything was as clean as possible. The facilities in the room are also good, there was a small fridge, a wardrobe closet in the room and hairdryer in the bathroom. The wifi signal was a bit weak in the room sometimes but totally usable.
The breakfast is simple but good, a couple more slices of cold cuts would be good but please don't take it as a complain, it was a good variety of food options with juice and coffee available anytime during the day, when I told Oktay I'll be leaving for an early morning flight he even offered to prepare sandwiches for the trip.
The only thing that would have been good if I could open the window properly for a bit of fresh air during the morning, but it's the only thing I can mention as room for improvement.

The owner went out of his way to make the stay excellent. Attentive, welcoming and generous, he and his staff were first rate.
I loved the roof terrace room and enjoyed the pleasant buffet breakfasts.
As budget hotels go, the room was fine and the overall service provided made me sure to book the Paris Hostel when next in Istanbul. A big recommend!
The stuff and the owner were very friendly, the breakfast was decent, the room was warm, it provided what was in the description.
The room and the bathroom especially could use some renovation.

If I were to rate this place regardless of the price, it would probably be a 4/10. The building is quite dated and clearly needs renovation, the breakfast is repetitive with limited options, and the room could have been warmer during late February evenings. However, looking at the bigger picture:
Exceptional Hospitality: The owner, Oktay, is a fantastic host who speaks English fluently. He is incredibly kind and helpful, making you feel like a guest in his own home—he even lent me an umbrella when it rained and let me store my luggage until my flight.
Prime Location: It’s perfectly situated near the Çemberlitaş tram stop, with plenty of shops and restaurants right at your doorstep.
Unbeatable Value: This is a very budget-friendly option. If you just need a bed and a shower while spending your entire day exploring the city, it’s an ideal choice.
Extra Perks: There is a lovely terrace with views of the Bosphorus and the Sea of Marmara, plus free tea available at reception.
I don’t understand people complaining because they expected luxury. This is a budget stay, and evaluating it within that category, it’s a solid 10/10.
